Good day, everyone. Thank you for having me.

My name is Ralph Ken

Salazar, and I am 29 years old. I was born in my province, Davao, but I currently
live in Caloocan City.

I graduated senior high school in STI College Caloocan, and after 5 years in
college, I graduated from the University of the Philippines Diliman with a degree
in Bachelor of Science in Architecture, and after that, I took my 2 years of
experience in my uncle company.

Before I became a licensed architect, there were challenges I conquered

before I reached where I am now. For example, if the problem I had was that we
were financially unstable at the time, then I needed to find a side hustle, which is
freelancing. I worked as a freelancer for almost 2 years, and then after that, I
managed my aunt's hardware shop to maintain my needs at my architecture school.

When I was a senior high school student, I got an average of 90.75 and
graduated with honors. And in my years of studying in college, I graduated as a
Cum Laude, and at the age of 28, I passed my Architecture Licensure Exam, and I
am a top notcher. Then I attend a seminar with one of the greatest architects, Zaha
Hadid, in Dubai.

As an architect, I care about our environment because some of our structures

don’t care about it because they did not preserve it. An example of that is the Mall
of Asia Arena, where there is another project beside the seaside. They aren’t aware
that it could harm the aquatic life—the sea creatures in it, the fish, the corals, and
many more things that we’re preserving in the sea. The other example of this is the
project of Engr. Slater Young has the plan of building a condo in a mountain in
Cebu. It harms our mountains and our ecosystem. The animals could migrate to the
cities because their homes were destroyed and their natural habitats were ruined by
this project.

In conclusion, our environment is important to us. The solution is to create

an environmentally friendly and should our project.
