Negative sentences
To make negative sentences in present
simple we use don't/doesn't except for
the verb to be or modals

For regular conjugation


In third-person, we always add a -s at
the end of the verb.
Example: She/he likes coffee
She/he lives in Santiago
For irregular conjugation
In third-person, we always add a -s at
Rules and

But, for verbs that end with -O, -CH, -SH,
Exceptions
-SS, -X, or -Z, we add -ES
For example: wash-washes, kiss-kisses

For verbs that end with a consonant+Y, we erase -Y and


add -IES
For example: study-studies, worry-worries

For verbs that end with a vowel+Y, we just add a -S
