1. Planned maintenance

The Maintenance and Safety has to be done once a year according


to the procedure described in the Maintenance and Safety LIT 160/
170 protocoll and send a copy to HMT Customer Support.

After each service operation you need to check the ULS132


according to the procedure described in the Test and Release
ULS0132 protocoll and send a copy to HMT Customer Support.

This is to document the good condition of the device after service


operation for both service technican and customer.

ULS 132 to LithoTron F2-Focus

Refer to the radiation protection standards before X-raying!

1. Usage of the F2-focus phantom LithoTron without x-ray


• Adapt the F2-focus phantom to the therapy head
• Mount the Ultrasound phantom to the transducer holder
• Start the US-device SD360/Unison400 and go to the Litho-mode
• Select at the LithoTron user panel the ULS-mode
• Start the ULS-system
• Change the coordinate-cross at the US-monitor to 0,720 (CA3540)
• Set the front tip of the Ultrasound phantom to the cone of the F2-focus phantom
• Check the coordinates at the user panel display for x,y,z

2. Usage of ultrasound customer phantom with x-ray (Box with metal tip and water inside)
• Follow the instructions in the User Manual for precision checks (Chapter Maintenance)
• Move table that all three coordinates x,y,z at the display user panel are smaller than ±0.5mm
• X-ray in PA and CC position
• Measure the distance between the tip and the center of the x-ray cross on the X-ray monitor
