people-centered Philippine strategy to prepare Filipinos
ahead of inevitable disruptions brought about by rapid

might worsen
• unemployment rate would have drastic increase

conflict on areas like education
building new public-private alliances
helping affected communities become more resilient and
improve livelihoods (Weidman-Grunewald, 2017)
• multi-stakeholder dialogues (Benioff, 2017)
Conclusion

Industrial Revolution?
 Education is the main foundation- K-12 and TESDA
programs
 PIDS, are still in the process of observing and analyzing
strategies on how to deal with the 4IR
• What will be the impact of the fourth industrial revolution
to the Philippine society?
 Easier and faster production
 Bridge geography
 Academe
 Medicine
 Industry and economy
 Government
Conclusion
• How will the humanitarian sector respond to the fourth
industrial revolution to communities affected by this
phenomenon?
 4IR could yield greater inequality, particularly in its potential
to disrupt labor markets (Brynjolfsson & Andrew McAfee, 2016)
 it is still in the hands of human if they will allow the
technologies to do their job or them with the help of the
technology
 multi-stakeholder dialogues or conversation in order to make a
good plan on how they could avoid human’s unemployment
 improve their skill levels to keep up with the change.
Significance of the Study
• Students- to understand what is happening in the society and
be aware of the situation the country is in right now.
• Philippine Government and Business leaders -help them to
understand the situation and guide them how other countries
did their preparation to embrace the situation and help them
realized and understand that their cooperation as leaders are
truly needed and best weapon to successfully adapt to the 4IR
• Filipinos- let them know and understand that the situation
about 4IR is something that cannot be avoided and their
cooperation and trust to the leaders are much needed in order to
succeed in this era; enlighten them how important it is to adapt
in this era and that their knowledge about it is truly required to
avoid more conflict within the society and the government
