Thank You - PTO Fall Food Pantry Drive

Thank you to students, families, and staff for contributing to our fall food pantry drive.
Our Community Service Chair, Dena Sonnenberg, delivered all the goods we received at
school plus $210 in additional items to the pantry. Every D112 PTO participated in this
drive, working collectively to stock the pantry shelves.

Volunteer Opportunities
GREENHOUSE GARDEN VOLUNTEERS: October is the time where our greenhouse
and outdoor garden needs some extra TLC. The cool weather weeds have sprouted, the
beds need to be prepped for the winter, and the greenhouse beds need to be maintained
for the students.

GREENHOUSE CLASS VOLUNTEERS: Due to the longer walk from Elm Place to the
Indian Trail greenhouse, parent volunteers are requested to help walk the classes across
the street during greenhouse enrichment. Morning shifts are from 9:00-11:30 and
afternoon shifts are from 1:00-3:00.

SIGN UP HERE to help as a Greenhouse Garden or Class Volunteer.

BOOK FAIR VOLUNTEERS: There are still a few spaces available!

SIGN UP HERE to help Mrs. Grost at the fall book fair.
