Condition Type-0

कंडीशन टाइप-0 वाले वाक्यं में भी 'If clause' और 'Principal clause' हयते हैं । ये वाक् उन conditions
का वर्णन करते हैं जय सत्य है । वाक् की संरचना इस तरह हयती है "यदि ऐसा है, तो ऐसा होता है।"
The sentences with Condition Type-0 also have 'If clause' and 'Principal clause'. These
sentences describe the facts that are true. The structure of the sentence is like this "if it is
so, it happens so."

Rule: [If/When + Subject + Present Simple + Object], [Subject + Present Simple +

Object]

Present Simple means Present Indefinite Tense or simple sentence of is, are, am, was, were,
has, have.
Let's look at the examples:
• अगर आप झूठ बयलते हैं , तय लयग आपकय छयड़ दे ते हैं । If you lie, people leave you.

• अगर आप सच कहते हैं , तय लयग आप पर बहुत भरयसा करते हैं ।
• अगर आप ककसी चीज कय ऊपर की ओर फेंकते हैं , तय वह तुरंत नीचे आ जाती
है ।
• जब आप पानी में जाते हैं , तय आप भीग जाते हैं ।
• जब कयहरा घना हय जाता है , तय उड़ानें दे री से पहुं चती हैं ।
If you tell the truth, people trust you very much.
If you throw anything upward, it immediately comes
down.
When you go into the water, you get wet.
When the fog becomes dense, flights arrive late.

• यकद आप खुले में पेटरयल रखते हैं , तय यह वाष्पित हय जाता है । If you keep petrol in the open, it evaporates.

• जब वह अच्छी कमाई करती है , तय वह एक अच्छा जीवन जीती है । When she earns well, she lives a good life.

• यकद आप बहुत अकिक खाते हैं , तय आप बीमाररययं कय आमंकित करते हैं । If you eat too much, you invite diseases.

• अगर बच्चा भूखा है , तय उसे नीद

ं नही ं आती है । If the child is hungry, it does not sleep.

• यकद आप कड़ी मेहनत करते हैं , तय आप अपनी सफलता के प्रकत आश्वस्त हैं । If you work hard, you are sure of your success.

Condition Type-1

जय शतें संभव हैं वे कंडीशन टाइप -1 के अंतगणत आती हैं । ऐसी ष्पथिकतयां या तय यह दशाण ती हैं कक भकवष्य में कुछ करें गे या वतणमान में कुछ
करें तय यह / वह हयगा /हय सकता है । वाक् की संरचना इस तरह हयती है " अगर ये हो / ये करें / ये करें गे, तो वो होगा / वो हो
जाएगा / वो शायि हो जाए / वो हो सकता है।"

Conditions that are possible come under Condition type-1. Such conditions either indicate that they will do
something in the future or if they do something in the present, then it/that will happen. The structure of the
sentence is like this "If it happens / do it / will do it, it will/may/might/could happen."

• अगर आज सूरज कनकलता है , तय हम समुद्र के ककनारे िूप सेंकेंगे। If the sun comes out today, we will sunbathe
on the seashore.
• यकद आप परीक्षा पास कर लेते हैं , तय आपकय यह नौकरी कमल सकती है । If you pass the exam, you may get this job.
• यकद आप तेजी से भागते हैं , तय आप उसे पकड़ सकते हैं । If you run fast, you could catch him.
• यकद आप कक्षा में कनयकमत नही ं हैं , तय आप कवषय कैसे सीखेंगे? If you are not a regular in the class, how will you
learn the subject?
• यकद आप दै कनक अभ्यास नही ं करते हैं , तय आप िाराप्रवाह अंग्रेजी कैसे If you do not practice daily, how will you speak
बयलेंगे? English fluently?
• अगर वह आपके ष्पखलाफ कशकायत करती है , तय आपकय जेल भेजा जा If she complains against you, you may be sent to

• अगर आप मेरे साि हैं , तय मैं पूरे पररवार के गुस्से का सामना कर सकता हं । If you are with me, I can face the anger of the whole
family.
Note: 'If clause' का वाक् भकवष्य काल (गा, गे, गी) में समाप्त हय तब भी हम वतणमान काल में इस बनाते हैं ।

Condition Type-2
वतणमान में हम कजन काल्पकनक ष्पथिकतययं की कल्पना करते हैं , उन्हें Conditional type-2 वाक्यं के रूप में जाना जाता है । वाक् की संरचना इस तरह हयती है "
अगर ये हो / पास होता, तो वो हो जाता / वो हो पाता / वो कर िे ता।"
The hypothetical conditions we currently imagine are known as Conditional type-2 sentences. The structure of the sentence is like
this "If it were, it would have been / could have been done” There are three parts of the Condition Type-2 sentences: (1) State of
Being (2) State of Possession (3) Action
(1) State of Being...Imagination...अगर मैं ऐसा होता तो क्या होता
Rule: [If + Subject + were + Object], [Subject + Would/Could + Verb (1st form) + Object]
Note: 'Were' will come with all Subjects irrespective of their 1st/2nd/3rd Person and singular/plural Number.
• यकद मैं एक राजा हयता, तय मैं तुम्हें जमीन का एक बड़ा टु कड़ा दे ता। If I were a king, I would give you a big piece of land.
• अगर मैं एक कशक्षक हयता, तय मैं गरीब छाियं कय मुफ्त ट्यूशन दे ता। If I were a teacher, I would provide free tuitions to
poor students.
• अगर वह मेरी बॉस हयती, तय वह मेरी छु ट्टी मंजूर नही ं करती। If she were my boss, she would not sanction my leave.

• अगर अद्वय भारत में हयता, तय वह अपनी दादी की गयद में बैठना पसंद If Advay were in India, he would love to sit in his

 • यकद वह प्रबंिक हयता, तय सीमा हम सब पर हावी हयती। If he were the Manager, Seema would dominate us all.
• अगर वह पुकलस ककमश्नर हयती, तय सभी अपरािी जेल में हयते। If she were the police commissioner, all criminals
would be in jail.

Condition Type-2
(2) State of Possession...Imagination...अगर मेरे पास ये होता तो मैं वो कर िे ता
Rule: [If + Subject + had + Object], [Subject + Would/Could + Verb (1st form) + Object]

• अगर मेरे पास कार हयती, तय मैं आपकय दे दे ता। If I had a car, I would give it to you.
• अगर पापा के पास पैसे हयते, तय वह मुझे जरूर दे ते। If papa had money, he would surely give to me.

• यकद उनके कब्जे में मूल पावर ऑफ अटॉनी हयती, तय वे मुझे सूकचत कर
दे ते।
• अगर चयर पुकलस की कहरासत में हयता तय वे उसकी कपटाई कर रहे हयते।
• अगर उनके बैंक खाते में दस लाख रुपये हयते, तय वे इसे जरूरतमंद लयगयं
कय कवतररत कर दे ते।
• अगर मेरे पास एक कैमरा हयता, तय मैं उसके एकल नृ त्य प्रदशण न कय
ररकॉडण कर रहा हयता।
• अगर मेरे पास उसके कायाण लय तक पहुुँ च हयती, तय इस समय मैं उसके
साि चाय पी रहा हयता
• अगर मेरे पास दय हे लमेट हयते, तय मैं आपकय एक दे पाता।
If they had original power of attorney in their custody,
they would give it to me.
If the police had a thief in their custody, they would be
beating him.
If he had ten lakh rupees in his bank account, he
would have distributed it to the needy people.
If I had a camera, I would be recording her solo dance
performance.
If I had access to her office, I would be taking tea with
him at this time.
If I had two helmets, I could give one to you.

(3) Some Action...Imagination...ये हो जाता / वो हो जाता, तो मैं...

Rule: [If + Subject + Verb (2nd form) + Object], [Subject +

Would/Could + Verb (1st form) + Object]

Let's look at the examples:

• अगर मैं हां गकां ग जाता, तय मैं कडज़्नीलैंड ज़रूर घूमता। If I went to Hong Kong, I would definitely roam
Disneyland
• अगर वह मेरी बात मानती तय मैं उसे असली कहानी सुनाता। If she believed me, I would tell her the real story.
• अगर वह हमारे साि आता, तय हम उसका सारा खचण उठाते। If he came with us, we would bear all his expenses.

• यकद काव्या बहस में भाग लेती, तय उसका कशक्षक उसे पुरस्कृत
करता।
• अगर आप राजनीकत के बारे में बयलते, तय मैं आपका समिणन नही ं
करता।
• अगर कगलहरी मेरे पास आती, तय मैं उसे मूंगफली दे पाता।
If Kavya participated in the debate, her teacher would
reward her.
If you spoke about politics, I would not support you.
If the squirrel came to me, I could give her peanuts.

Condition Type-3

कंडीशन टाइप-2 वाक्यं में वतणमान समय में कल्पना िी और हालत टाइप-3 में व्यष्पि कुछ कपछली घटनाओं पर पश्चाताप या कवचार करने के कलए कल्पना
है : "अगर मैंने ऐसा ककया हयता, तय ऐसा हयता या हय सकता िा"।

Condition Type-2 sentences were imagination at the present time and in Condition Type-3 sentences, the person imagines to repe
ponder over some past event: "If I had done this, it would have or could have happened".

There are three parts of the Condition Type-3 sentences: (1) State of Being (2) State of Possession (3) Action
(1) State of Being...Contemplation...अगर ऐसा हयता तय वैसा हय चुका हयता / हय सकता िा

Rule: [If + Subject + Had + Been (3rd form of Be) + Object], [Subject +
Would/Could have + Verb (3rd form) + Object]

Let's look at the examples:

• अगर मैं उस दिन उनके घर पर होता, तो मैं उन्हें नौकरी िे ने की
पेशकश कर चुका होता।
• यदि मैं 2019 में प्रबं धक होता, तो मैं एक दविे शी असाइनमेंट के दिए
आवेिन कर सकता था।
• अगर वह मेरी मेहमान होती, तो हमें उसकी दिल्म में काम करने का
मौका दमि चुका होता।
• अगर उस दिन वह उसके साथ होता, तो उसे भी दगरफ्तार कर दिया
जाता।
• यदि वह उस दिन बीमार नही ं होती, तो उसे प्रथम पुरस्कार दमिता।
If I had been at his home on that day, I would have
offered him a job.
If I had been the Manager in 2019, I could have
applied for a foreign assignment.
If she had been my guest, we would have got an
opportunity to work in her film.
If he had been with her that day, he would have been
arrested as well.
If she had not been sick on that day, she would have
got the first prize.

(2) State of Possession...Contemplation...अगर मेरे पास ये हयता तय मैं वय कर चुका हयता या कर सकता िा
Rule: [If + Subject + Had + Had (3rd form of Has/Have)
+ Object], [Subject + Would/Could have + Verb (3rd
form) + Object]

1. अगर मेरे पास 2010 में पयााप्त पैसा होता तो मैं अपना पचासवां If I had had enough money in 2010, I would have
जन्मदिन दकसी िाइव स्टार होटि में मनाता। celebrated my fiftieth birthday in a five-star hotel.

2. यदि उस दिन मेरे पास अदतररक्त पैसे होते, तो मैं उस स्कूि को If I had had spare money on that day, I would have

Note: कंडीशन टाइप-2: केवल वतणमान समय में कल्पना करता है कक

अगर मेरे पास पैसा हयता, तय मैं इसे दान कर दे ता, जबकक, कंडीशन
टाइप-3 में, कयई व्यष्पि कपछली घटनाओं कय ध्यान में रखते हुए सयचता
है / पछताता है / कल्पना करता है , कक अगर मेरे पास उस समय पैसा
हयता तय मैं दान कर चुका हयता. इस अंतर के साि, वाक् बनाने का
कनयम बदल जाता है।

condition Type-3
(3) Some Action...Contemplation...अगर ये हुआ हयता तय, वय हय
चुका हयता, वय कर पाता, वय कर सकता िा

• अगर मैं ने खुि पर दनयंत्रण नही ं दकया होता, तो मैं उसे थप्पड़ मार

• अगर उन्होंने मु झे आमंदत्रत दकया होता, तो मैं दनदित रूप से शािी में
शादमि होता।
• अगर उसने मुझे धोखा िे ने की कोदशश की होती, तो मैं उसे बखाास्त
कर िे ता।
• यदि हमारे राजाओं ने कुछ िू रिदशाता दिखाई होती, तो हम िु दनया को
अपने प्रभुत्व में िे िेते।
• अगर मु झे वह खबर पहिे दमि जाती, तो मैं उसे समुद्र के दकनारे जाने
की इजाजत नही ं िे ता।
• यदि उन्होंने कदिन अध्ययन नही ं दकया होता, तो वे अपने पाररवाररक
व्यवसाय से जुड़ जाते।
• अगर मैं ने मेहनत से पढाई की होती, तो मैं डॉक्टर बन सकता था।
If I had not controlled myself, I would have slapped
him.
If they had invited me, I would have definitely
attended the marriage.
If he had tried to cheat me, I would have fired him.
If our Kings had shown some farsightedness, we
would have taken the world in our domination.
If I had received that news earlier, I would have
never allowed him to go to the seashore.
If he had not studied hard, he would have joined
his family business.
If I had studied hard, I could have become a
doctor.

• अगर मैं ने मेहनत से पढाई की होती, तो मैं डॉक्टर बन सकता था। Had I studied hard, I could have become a doctor.
