    ORDER
    (Below Exh.1)

    1] This is the complainant alleging offence punishable u/s 138 of NI


    Act. The case has been for dismissal order in view of order passed
    below Exh. 1 on 18.09.2021.

    2] Perused record, it appears that the complainant is absent since


    long and no effective step has been taken since long and specifically no
    step after 17.10.2022 with a view to proceed with the case. It is to
    state that the case is old one, pending since more than 8 years and the
    Hon’ble Parent High Court has issued several directions to this Court to
    dispose of old matters expeditiousely on priority basis.

    3] Totday, none for the complainant or his counsel appeared when


    repeatedly called for before and after lunch break. No step has been
    taken or made any application with a view to proceed with the case. In
    circumnstances, there is no point to keep the case pending on record
    without any progress. Therefore and in view of special directions of the
    Hon’ble Parent High Court, this case is fit to dispose of in today’s
    special drive. Resultantly, the following order:

    ORDER
    1] The complaint is dispose of vide section 256 of CrPC and
    accused is acquitted.
    2] The proceeding is closed.
