Duties and Responsibilities

Following specifications and calculations to create various technical drawings.

Preparing both rough sketches and detailed work with CADD systems.
Performing calculations for materials and weight limitations.
Create accurate, detailed technical plans for electrical systems using computer-
aided design programs to convert specifications and design information from
engineers into schematics
Collect study and combine rough sketches and initial design ideas from
engineers into coherent technical drafts for further study and review by Sr.
Engineers
Prepare comprehensive wiring diagrams for electrical equipment, power
substations according to project objectives, design information and engineering
specifications
Check that final technical drafts include all relevant information in an easy-to-
read format, and verify that calculations, measurements and units are accurate
based on initial design information from engineers
Assist Sr. Engineers and supervisors as needed in preparing technical
documents and presentation slides for meetings.
Review technical drafts as needed according to verbal or written instructions
from engineering team and supervisors
Prepare drafts of wiring diagrams, working drawings, wiring connection
specifications along with underground cables cross-sections as needed
installation crew instructions.
Design electrical systems, such as lighting systems.
Prepare 3d view (Revit & Solid works & other related Software) for detail
information.
Developing wiring diagrams, connection diagrams, one-line/three line diagrams,
schematic/elementary diagrams, logic diagrams and conduit /raceway diagrams.
Checking drawings for accuracy including dimensions, spelling, drafting
standards and completeness utilizing correct project design criteria.
Create plan drawings and details.
Structural layout and fabrication drawings with bill of material.
Prepare as built drawings.
