From SIRI to self-driving cars, artificial intelligence (AI) has made rapid progress. While science fiction
is considered as portraying AI with robots possessing human-like characteristics, But the fact is AI
encompasses anything from Google’s search algorithms to IBM’s Watson to autonomous weapons.

Artificial Intelligence today is properly known as narrow AI (or weak AI) because it is designed to
perform a narrow tasks (e.g. facial recognition or internet searches or driving a car). However, the
long-term goal of many researchers is to create general AI (AGI or strong AI). While narrow AI may
outperform humans at whatever its specific task is, like playing chess or solving equations. AGI
would outperform humans at nearly every cognitive task that is assigned to it.

HOW ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE WILL CHANGE THE FUTURE?

Artificial intelligence is creating an immense impact on the future of every industry virtually and
every human being individually and collectively. Artificial intelligence has acted as the main driving
force of emerging technologies like big data, IoT and robotics. Similarly, it will continue to act as a
technical innovator for the foreseeable future.

IS AI READY TO TAKE OVER THE WORLD?

AI, since the last decade or two, has been projected to have a lasting impact on just about every field
imaginable. Artificial intelligence has already made its mark in our daily lives like in smart devices,
cars, healthcare system and favorite apps and we’ll continue to see its increasing influence deeply
permeate into many other industries in the upcoming future.

WHAT MAKES ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE SO IMPORTANT?

Artificial intelligence has proven its drastic importance on our future and existing lives as AI forms
the very foundation of computer learning. Through AI implementing computers have the ability to
harness massive amounts of data and use their learning patterns to enhance the intelligence of our
systems, in order to make decisions and discoveries at optimal level.

Jobs in the recent era are more trending towards AI than

those that use come in the previous decade or so. Machines
are handling tasks of unsafe and time-consuming nature
, while humans are moving towards more productive,
Interactive and more intelligent jobs with greater
human interaction. Policies are being designed to achieve
this strength of AI.

PROSPERITY IN SHARED ECONOMY

The benefits of leading technologies tends to progress the economic conditions that are widely shared around
the world. AI has massively boosted productivity of the global economy by 10 times. Humans are capable of
doing more and achieving more by sharing this prosperity. The vision is being pursued by adopting various

Large-scale companies focused on developing AI based solutions that resulted in benefiting the humanity and
they did so without holding excessive economic or political power. This was pursued by changing corporate
ownership structures and updating mistrust policies.
In reality, AI has already been at work all around us, impacting everything from our search engines and their
results, to our online gaming prospects, to the way we shop and educate. Data shows that the use of AI in
many sectors of economy and business has grown by 270% over the last four years.

WILL AI STAY FOR A LONG TIME?

AI is definitely here to stay, whether we approve of it or not. Personally, I don’t think we have anything to be
afraid of. The best way to move forward is to be aware of and adopt to the new technology around us.
