Despite having strong Spanish roots, Kapampángan cuisine shares many characteristics with
Malay and even Mexican cuisine. Through the use of locally abundant and easily available
ingredients, the Kapampangan people contributed a unique twist to the origins of exotic cuisine.
Pampanga is known as the Culinary Capital of the Philippines because of the variety and depth
of tastes found in every meal prepared by Kapampangans, who use only the finest ingredients to
create delicious cuisine that is enjoyed by all. It took the Spanish palate by surprise that the
Kapampangans could create such a distinctive combination. Featuring dishes like Pindang or
Tocino, Sisig, Morcon, Biringhe, and Tibok Tibok.

The objective of the study is to investigate the revisit intention of tourists in Clark City,
Pampanga, by examining factors such as food-related motivation, which is the tourist's desire to
experience new and different cuisines such as Kapampángan Cuisine and Spanish Cuisine or to
revisit restaurants that they enjoyed during their previous visit. Clark City has a diverse culinary
scene, with restaurants offering everything from traditional Kapampángan cuisine to
international cuisine. And the rich culinary history of the region. By examining these factors, the
study aims to gain a better understanding of what motivates tourists to return to Clark City. This
information can be used to develop strategies to attract and retain tourists and to make Clark City
an even more desirable destination for foodies. thereby contributing valuable insights to the
realms of tourism and cultural heritage management.

The research gap of the study is the lack of understanding of the specific factors that influence
tourists' revisit intention in Clark City, Pampanga, with a focus on food-related motivation and
culinary history. it emphasizes the significance of the culinary history in Clark City, highlighting
its diversity and rich history.
