1. Problem Solving and Strategic planning ability.

At Tata Consulting Engineers Limited, I worked as a pipe consulting engineer. For BPCL, I worked
on a green energy project. We had a problem statement and a process ow diagram to model on
Aveva E3D, and we had to create a 3D ow diagram. We had to position the equipment in
accordance with the process and optimise the piping layout in order to reduce the overall material
necessary for the job while retaining the aesthetic while adhering to the ASME standards. I
accomplished the assigned task in the allocated time and was able to meet the client's needs. I
was able to accomplish this by using a ve-step strategic planning process: 1. Establishing a
strategic position, 2. Prioritizing objectives, 3. Developing a strategy plan, 4. Executing and
monitoring the plan, and 5. Reviewing and modifying the plan based on client feedback. These, I
feel, are the fundamental ideas of consulting, and I hope to advance more in this domain.

2. Interpersonal Skills

Constructive criticism - I've always attempted to take criticism constructively rather than
destructively, which has helped me improve my e ciency, performance, and accuracy while also
keeping the required discipline. I've always solicited feedback from my project manager, team
lead, and coworkers, which has aided my professional development.
Con ict Resolution - Working in a team has its own set of challenges, and I feel that resolving a
disagreement is a talent that everyone should have in order to work together harmoniously.
Diversity & inclusion - I come from a multicultural background and have worked with people from
various walks of life.
Negotiation - While working for a technical consulting rm, I had the opportunity to communicate
with and negotiate with a variety of client’s representation PSU’s and MNC’s.
Flexibility - I've always been able to adjust to change and accept a variety of tasks because I've
always been exible enough to accept and perform tasks in critical situations.

3. Strong Communication Skills, both Oral and Written

I believe I have a natural ability to communicate. This is due to the fact that I have been involved
in a variety of stage performances since I was a child. Knowing numerous languages and
travelling to di erent places has enabled me to strike up conversations with people of diverse
ethnicities, making me an extrovert. I've also tried to be personable, which has led to others
sharing their feelings and views with me. I am a strong listener rather than a hearer. As a listener I,
I believe there is a clear separation between a listener and a hearer. I've always been listening and
analysing what others are saying, and I value what they have to say, which I believe is a sign of a
good communicator. Because I've worked in the corporate world, I've honed my writing skills.
From writing professional emails to creating PPTs and slides and presenting them in a
professional manner, there's a lot to learn and I am still developing and nurturing this aspect of
mine.
