My role in the project was the team leader’s. But because we lost our team member towards the end
of Phase 2, I assumed the responsibilities of the photographer, as well as the video-editor. I
contributed to the other aspects of product creation as best I could, assisting Aryaveer with
brainstorming and Weebly editing, and Steve with the marketing plan. I conducted multiple
interviews with many experts in relevant elds, namely, our science teachers, for our product’s
material; sports coaches and our head coach, ex-international hockey player Edgar Mascarenhas, to
test our product’s viability and obtain proof of concept; a business professor from our school, who
helped me set the foundation of our business model and marketing strategy; CEO and Founder of
internationally renowned iron and steel industry Avanti Buda Pvt. Ltd. Raghavendra Paropkari, who
provided further advice on production, functionally, and professionally developed a prototype; and
CEO and Founder of JuneDigital, Anuya Mehta, an expert in the eld of digital marketing and
branding, who aided immensely, helping us build on the foundation laid by our business professor
and create a eshed-out marketing scheme. I have learned a lot throughout this entire process.
Talking to so many experts forms many different elds could only be described as eye-opening. I
really do believe that I have gained many useful life skills, and I am very proud of what we have
achieved, as a team, from painstakingly coming up with ideas, narrowing them down, doing an in-
depth research and analysis of our selection, coming up with a marketing plan and business model
on our own, follow its evolution, and nally, creating an actual prototype of our design. It’s crazy to
think that I can hold in my hand today yesterday’s idea.

During my involvement in the EuMind project, I contributed in several ways. I played a signi cant
role in brainstorming innovative ideas with the team, exercising my brain, considering viability and
innovation, this and that. I’m happy to declare that I came up with the idea for our original team
photograph, which I found particularly enjoyable. I was tasked with being my team’s Weebly editor,
and learning the ins-and-outs of the software was very worthwhile. When it came to deciding which
idea to pursue, I suggested using a thorough pros and cons list-based elimination method. We
evaluated the various ideas we had come up with, and weighed the advantages and disadvantages of
each one. As a team, we ultimately decided to develop our product, Mixo t, which I’m proud to say
was the right choice. Additionally, I wrote a detailed explanation on how we came up with our
product, which helped to clarify our thought process, ensure that everyone was on the same page,
and explain the purpose and use of our product to whomever struggled to understand. This was an
important contribution, as it helped to streamline our development timeline and ensure that our
work was coherent and consistent. In conclusion, I was happy and satis ed with my contributions to
EuMind and my group. My group’s brainstorming ideas and evaluation method helped us create a
successful product that is well-received by our target audience. But overall, it was a great learning
experience, and I am proud of the work we accomplished as a team.

In the project, I played the role of the coordinator of the group, as I was the communications
manager. My role was to ensure that I was provided information to my peers throughout the
duration of the project. I created communication channels to easily allow the ow of information to
our group members and to ensure all information were stored on a medium accessible to all

members and our teacher-in-charge. I also assisted in making channels to allow our group member
to be updated on the status of the project, and held frequent meetings to discuss which stage in the
project we have reached and how we can each contribute to the best of our abilities. Apart from my
role in communication, I contributed in the brainstorming of ideas, the inputting of advantages and
disadvantages that I believed could in uence our product decision, and the early stages of the
creating of the prototype design. I also assisted in the creation of the marketing plan, and how we
will reach consumers based on the four “P”. I shared information that could be used to further
enhance our market strategies and to ensure our product is in the spotlight, even when surrounded
by traditionally consumer-chosen companies. For that, I helped to devise a SWOT analysis of
Mixo t. This analysis allowed us to change our product and, forgive me for being a tad dramatic,
amplify our strengths and subdue our weaknesses, whilst looking out for opportunities and to
keeping a keen eye out for threats. This experience gave me inside knowledge of entrepreneurship
that no textbook could teach me, it showed my and my group’s individual strengths and
weaknesses, and this project helped us overcome our weaknesses, together. I believe that the trials-
and-failures during this process helped us understand not only our product, but also its eld, and the
entire business world. I hope our product is one of those that will rise in the market, so that our hard
work would not have been only for experience and we could enjoy the sweet taste of success.
