their success. Some of these characteristics are:

5. Enthusiasm for English
6. Eagerness to learn
7. Openness to feedback and making changes to improve
8. Confidence to participate in live sessions
9. Proactive about their grades
10. Sense of self-advocacy and asking questions when they don’t understand
11. Willingness to connect with their instructor
12. Pride and self-respect in the quality of work they produce
13. Desire to excel
14. Understanding and appreciation of how English will benefit their future
15. Interest in participating in a global program with students around the world.

Next, provide 1 reason why this characteristic is important to success in the Dual Diploma
Program and one example of how you demonstrate this quality through your participation in
the Dual Diploma Program.

1. Characteristic #1: Organization

Reason why this is important: This characteristic is important because when you are better
to do the thing.
Example: if you must find something and you have things organized is much easier, instead of
that is you don’t the things organized it isn’t as easy as if you must find it.

2. Characteristic #2: Time management

Reason why this is important: Is important to managed with other thing.

Example: if you must do lots of thing, if you have the time managed it is much easier to do
more things because you have put what to do in each moment.
3. Characteristic #3: The ability to avoid distractions
Reason why this is important: If you know haw to avoid distractions you are going to be
more concentrate on what you are doing.

Example: For example, if you live near a road and you listen to the cars going and coming and
you know haw to avoid distractions you are going to concentrate much more that if you don’t
know haw to avoid distractions.

4. Characteristic #4: Independence

Reason why this is important: this characteristic is important because you don’t need to
other one to do something.

Example: If you must ask the notes to one classmate, you must wait until he would send you,
are you couldn’t do because he have it.

5. Characteristic #5: Enthusiasm for English

Reason why this is important: This reason is important because you want to be more focused
on English.

Example: If you are enthusiasm on English, you want to be doing exercises, speaking English,
and doing this that are related to English.
