1. Team Leaders (5) – Consumer Lending

Reporting to the Sales Manager the successful candidates will be responsible for managing of the Regional District
Sales Agents, maximising revenue and minimising risk by providing bank clients with an efficient, customer focused
service to contribute to bank profitability and retention of clients. The Team Leaders will be commissioned. The
positions are for Karonga, Mzuzu, Lilongwe, Blantyre and Zomba.
Key Responsibilities
• Drive sales as per sales targets.
• Achieve activations, appointments and conversion rate and daily monitoring.
• Increase market share.
• Implement marketing strategies and ensure implementation is as per plan.
• Competitor analysis.
• Relationship management with key client relationships with employers and third parties.
• Enforce Service Levels in branches and satellite offices as per standards.
• Collection of byproducts from Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs).
• Effective customer complaints handling.
Required competencies
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Good customer service skills
• Analytical problem solving skills
Qualifications and experience
• Degree in Commerce or equivalent
• Experience in Microfinance and sales environment

2. Front Desk Officer

Reporting to the Administration and Collections Manager the successful candidate will be required to attend to client
queries, accurately screen loan requirements and determine applicant’s affordability.
Key Responsibilities
• Responsible for the smooth, efficient, and professional operations of the front office.
• Responsible for excellent customer service through phone calls, emails and face to face of walk-in customers to
ensure that internal and external customers are assisted accordingly.
• Accurate screening and checking affordability of all customers.
• Provide administrative support to the Consumer Lending Department.
Required competencies
• Good customer service skills
• Excellent interpersonal skill
• Problem solving skills
Qualifications and experience
• Degree/Diploma in Business or any relevant qualification applicable to the position.
• Experience with Payroll Deduction System (Payment Solution Malawi)
