passing grade or if you are aiming to increase your grade for the First Quarter. Refer
to the table below for you to be guided on how many activities you are allowed to

PHILIPPINE POLITICS AND GOVERNANCE

List of Activities:

1. Why is your perspective about Philippine politics and the governance of its officials? You
may write a song, a poem, an essay with 100-250 words, or you may even draw to express
your thoughts. (20 points)
2. If you are to lead a country/nation or a group, what ideology would you like to employ and
why? (100-250 words, 10 points)
3. How would you describe power? Think of any object/thing/people that describes the word
“Power”. State what have you chosen and why did you choose that object/thing/people to
show your understanding on “Power”. (50-150 words, 10 points)
4. Search for 5 developing countries and 5 developed countries. Write one characteristic of
each country that you have searched to show why it is under developing or developed
country. (10 points)
5. In what Philippine political time would you want to live and why? You may describe that
certain time and you may put their political activities during the reign. Example: I want to
live during the pre-hispanic or pre-historic time because….. (100-250 words, 10 points)
6. If you are to become the President of the Philippines, list 5 political platforms/plans for the
country that you want to pursue and explain or describe each platform. (10 points)
7. In your own opinion, who is the best Philippine President so far? Give his/her
characteristics that made you think that he/she is the best. (100-250 words, 10 points)
8. As a student and as a part of the community, what is your say on the ways of governance
of your barangay officials? Give some ordinances/policies that have been employed and
have been very effective. What improvements would you suggest to your barangay officials
to foster better leadership? (20 points)
