These are known as “Right Hand Side” PCB’s and
can be identified by the link stating RH (Right hand)
These must always be fitted on the models as stated
above. On EMS/T2103H models and above the
units will contain a “Master” Rotavolt as well as a
“Slave” Rotavolt (The amount of “Slave” Rotavolts
will depend on the model number. A “Slave”
Rotavolt will have two Slave Amplifier PCBs fitted
and this will be one “Right Hand Side” & one “Left-
Hand Side” This is shown in the identification
pictures below.

Anticipator PCB CK204170

PCB Identification Number / Part Number CK204170

Fuse Rating N/A
Mechanical Fixing Secured by M3 screws x4
Electrical Connection PL1 4 Way IDC Connector / PL2 4 Way IDC
Connector
Additional Notes Potentiometers VR1/VR2 are factory set and should
not be adjusted.
LED ON in normal operation
LED OFF only for the time that the timer forces the
voltage onto the motors (Approximately one
second)
Normal Operation:
The PCB is fitted with a small RED LED which should
be ON during normal operation and changes when
the voltage is forced to the Brush Arms, this
happens quickly so once the LED changes from ON
to OFF this is the point at which the Motor receives
the voltage. (All brush arms that are connected to a
Slave Amplifier will move at the same time)

S60H Motor Brush Arm Assemblies:

PCB Identification Number / Part Number S60H Motor Brush Arm Assembly
Mechanical Fixing Secured by 4x M6 Fixing Bolts
Electrical Connection Push on Connectors
Additional Notes The S60H Motor Brush Arm Assembly is fitted to
Models EMS/T2102H & Above.

Important Identification Notes:

The Motor Brush Arm Assemblies are available as four different options. They all look the same but have
slight differences between them.

On an EMS/T2102H for example this has one Rotavolt per phase and is referred to as the Master Rotavolt.

The Master Rotavolt comprises of two Motor Brush Arms. (Looking from the front of the Voltage Stabiliser)

Left Hand Side This is known as the Left-Hand Side Master Rotavolt complete with Microswitches.
Right Hand Side This is known as the Right-Hand Side Master Rotavolt without Microswitches.

Slave Rotavolts are fitted to EMS/T2104H and above, usually the Master Rotavolts are at the bottom and the
Slave Rotavolts are fitted above. The table below indicates the usual fitting of the S60H Rotavolts.

Voltage Stabiliser Model Rotavolt Configuration

EMS/T2102H-3P 3x Masters ONLY
EMS/T2104H-3P 3x Masters / 3xSlave Rotavolts
EMS/T2106H-3P 3x Masters / 6xSlave Rotavolts
EMS/T2108H-3P 3x Masters / 9xSlave Rotavolts

Slave Rotavolt Motor brush Arms: (Quantity will depend on the model type as above)

Left Hand Side This is known as the Left-Hand Side Slave Rotavolt without Microswitches.
Right Hand Side This is known as the Right-Hand Side Slave Rotavolt without Microswitches with
Power transformer Fitted.

We recommend taking a picture of the required part if the information above is not clear.

The Motors on the S60H Motor Brush Arm Assembly can be moved by hand although this should be done
with caution, always check the condition of the Copper Rotavolt Track for any signs of damage or raised
Copper turns.

The Motor Brush Arm should move from one end of the Copper track to the other with minimum resistance,
if you are unable to move the motor by hand then you may try to energise the motor with a DC Power
Supply (12VDC)

T30H Motor Brush Arm Assemblies:

PCB Identification Number / Part Number T30H Motor Brush Arm Assembly
Mechanical Fixing Secured by 4x M6 Fixing Bolts
Electrical Connection Push on Connectors
Additional Notes The T30H Motor Brush Arm Assembly is fitted to
Models EMS/T2101H (Single & Three Phase)
Occasionally They Are Fitted To An EMS/T2103H
(This would be a Slave Rotavolt if Fitted)

Important Identification Notes:

The Motor Brush Arm Assemblies are available as four different options. They all look the same but have
slight differences between them.

On an EMS/T2101H for example this has one Rotavolt per phase and is referred to as the Master Rotavolt.

Rotavolts are fitted above. The table below indicates the usual fitting of the S60H/T30H Rotavolts.

Voltage Stabiliser Model Rotavolt Configuration

EMS/T2101H-3P 3x Masters ONLY
EMS/T2103H-3P 3x Masters / 3xSlave Rotavolts (The T30H’s Would
Be the Slave ONLY – The Masters would be S60H
Rotavolts)

Slave Rotavolt Motor Brush Arms: (Quantity will depend on the model type as above)

Left Hand Side This is known as the Left-Hand Side Slave Rotavolt without Microswitches.
Right Hand Side This is known as the Right-Hand Side Slave Rotavolt without Microswitches with
Power transformer Fitted.

We recommend taking a picture of the required part if the information above is not clear.

The Motors on the T30H Motor Brush Arm Assembly cannot be moved by hand, always check the condition
of the Copper Rotavolt Track for any signs of damage or raised Copper turns.

To test the Motor, use a 12VDC Power Supply to energise the Motor and see if it turns freely from one end to
the other. (Reverse the polarity of the DC Power Supply to reverse the Motor)
