1. Which among the four workplace dynamics do you perceive to be the most
challenging? Explain in not more than 5 properly phrased sentences. (5 points).

- The Shared relationship for me is the most challenging, reason being that the
leader and members must share their responsibility so that they can communicate
clearly. Developing shared leadership takes time, the transition phase, in which
each team member gets adjusted to the new leadership approach collectively and
individually, and the active phase, in which the team shifts from bedding in to
taking action on whatever duties it has been allocated, are the two phases of its
bedding in.

2. How can communication help in organization to reach out to clients and offer
their products and services. Explain briefly by using your own words. (5 points)

-Due to the communication that the organization explains well to the clients their
products and services clearly, by the communication the clients may persuade to
accept the offer because they can see that they can trust the organization by giving
the words that the organization said. It is easy to persuade clients through
communication with the fact that we can easily gain trust from others when we
communicate with it, communication is the key to success the business.

3.3. Writing Activity 2

1. Differentiate Academic writing with Technical writing. Give specific examples.

- Academic writing may describe very complicated concepts and provide

specialized knowledge. Technical writing is a form of written communication used
mainly as correspondence and in the production of written outputs valuable to an
organization. In Goal-oriented and theory proving, academic writing is all about
proving a certain writer’s idea or theory by use of supportive evidence whereas
technical writing tends to explain how to solve certain tasks or problems. In
process and results technical writing tends to explain steps by step explaining a
certain process whereas academic writing is result-driven based on certain data or
research. In target readers, technical writing targets end-users in a company that
wants to know how to solve certain tasks or problems whereas academic writing
targets scholars who have expertise in a specific field. Last in writing styles
academic and technical writing have different writing styles. They cannot be mixed
therefore an academic writer cannot write a technical paper. Examples for
Technical writing are: Websites, Software manuals and Data sheets. While the
examples for Academic writing are: Research papers, Book reviews and Thesis
statement.

2. What do we mean with straight forward wording in Technical writing?

-Technical writing straight forward wording is presenting facts and information

honestly and directly.

3. There are three (3) forms of accuracy. Differentiate each of them.

 Document accuracy refers to the proper coverage of your topics in

appropriate detail. Often an accurate document needs to focus clearly on a
problem. Document accuracy is generally cultivated by a clear problem
statement and by a preliminary outline. These writing tools help you focus
your writing effort by reducing your data in a way that solves a theoretical or
practical problem.

 Stylistic accuracy concerns the careful use of language to express meaning.

Accurate language requires the careful use of paragraph and sentence
structure and word choice to describe and analyse your topics effectively. As a
writer, you gain command of accuracy by studying the elements of style and
by learning to apply those elements to your drafting, revising, editing, and
proofreading. Stylistic accuracy is also a matter of using words precisely.

 Technical accuracy requires stylistic accuracy but is not based solely on it. The
effective document in science and technology must be grounded in a
technically accurate understanding and representation of the subject.
Technical accuracy depends on the writer's conceptual mastery of the subject
and its vocabulary, as well as on his or her ability to analyse and shape data
with a minimum of distortion. In science and technology, enormous creative
energy is given to mastering this technical aspect of subject development.
