February 11, 2021 was our first meeting
with our teacher with this subject
which is Ma’am De Vera, it is our first
time that we are under with Ma’am
and everyone is looking forward
for a fun and interactive semester. Ma’am De Vera
gave an orientation about the subject like grading
system, learning evidences and especially the class
rules. Ma’am also reminded us about the
appropriate attire during the online class and we must
use our own name in the class. After that ma’am
elaborated the information about the subject and
unexpectedly ma’am gave us some information about our
course what is the root of our course. First expression last as
what they say and my first expression for ma’am is that she is
a considerate teacher and understanding teacher I hope I am
right.
The class of BPEd 3 are expecting an integrated, informative
and fun session with Ma’am De Vera.

Reflective Log #1
Reflective Log #2

Last February 18, 2021 was our second meeting with

Ma’am Arlene in this subject I was looking forward
for Ma’am Arlene’s time because I feel that it is not a
class only but also a discussion about our state and
because Ma’am always reminds us about good thing.
During in this time Ma’am Arlene showed us a video
about a “terror teacher” and a student the video was
amazing because I somehow relate to the video.
Right after watching the video Ma’am let us
reminisce about favorite teacher or the teacher that
we dearly idolized, the activity was so exciting and
fun. Through this activity I was able to know more
about how a teacher becomes a teacher and also I
learned who the favorite teacher of my dear
classmate, this day was so fun and at the same time
productive.
Reflective Log #3

Last March 04, 2021 was our third meeting with Ma’am Arlene, this
was the first session that we started our class reporting starting with
the group 1. The reporters was Bering, Batingal and Biscayno they
deliver the topic informatively but it is quite long that honestly
speaking lost out attention and listening to it because it is so long, but
I shake my body and do jumping jacks I regained my attention in the
reporting. The reporters was so intellegent with ther topic I can feel
that they really stutied their own topics. After their discussion,
Ma’am arlene gave feedback in their presentation Ma’am arlene was
not quite pleased by the presentation because she said she expected a
webinar type but Ma’am understand because it is the first group and
next week ma’am expected that the next group will hit her
expectation in the webinar reporting. Honestly, I am quite nervouse
because I can feel in our group Ma’am will set her standard high
because we are the chapter 5 the fifth foup to discuss so our group are
so nervous but we will pray that our webinar will be successful and
so our classmates webinar.
Reflective Log #4

Last March 12, 2021 our fourth virtual meeting with this
subject. We had a webinar session with the Chapter 2 and Chapter
3 groups they presented their topics in a webinar type
presentation. I have learned that management skills come in
varied forms such as conceptual, technical and interpersonal. The
topic of this group hit different for me because it states that
conceptual and analytic skills comes first before the interpersonal
it is different from my perspective because I believe that
interpersonal skill must come first before the two because you
need to develop this skill in order to practice a right and just
management skills because you are able to understand the people
around and you possess empathy, sympathy and compassion to
others. In chapter 3 their topic is organizing and managing the
underlying principles and objectives of physical education
program that can helps the students and teachers how physical
education plays a big role in all aspects of giving instructions and
activities to everyone. Organizing and managing is a vital
principles for physical education in achieving objective so we
should also develop and practice organizing and managing. The
lesson this day was very informative and interacting.
Reflective Log #5

Last March 30, 2021 was our fifth meeting in this

subject PEd 233 we had the webinar session of Chapter 5.
Our group was supposedly to present this day through a
video recorded presentation we had and prepared last
March 29 but unfortunately due to connection and
audio Ma’am De Vera suggested to let our classmate
view the video on their own. Honestly speaking we
were very nervous at that time because the technical
are not cooperating and I know we wasted the time in
our class when we are trying to play the video and I
also give burden unto some of our classmates. On the
other hand, the Chapter 5 was delivered magnificently
by Kirk he gave us a clear and concise information
about Quality Instruction I believe as a future educator
Instructions with quality is very important because this
will give information unto the student and we must
give this morally and understandable
Reflective Log #6

This reflective log #6 focuses on the topic of my classmates

Janille Peñanueva her topic was Event Planning and Special
Program. In her topic she explained that as a Physical Education
administrator, organizing and conducting special events and
program focuses on Physical Education within the school
community. In my own experiences, as a member of Sangguniang
Kabataan in our barangay I have conducted several events for the
youth in our barangay so I have some background information on
how to conduct an event or program that focuses on the betterment
of the youth as well as other ages. The topic of my classmates taught
me a lot of information that could helped me in doing events for the
future. As a future Physical Education instructor I am well aware
in this position that we will be assigned in conducting such event for
the students and this topic informed us taught well in fulfilling that
position aside from being a teacher.
Reflective Log #7

Last April 22, 2021 Ma’am De Vera add some

information about the topic of the other group whole
already uploaded their video presentation. Difference
between bullying and harassment. This time the class of
Ma’am De Vera was observed by our program head Dr.
Benjie Badon we are so excited to participate in the
class of ma’am de vera because we also want to help
ma’am de vera in a way that we are able to. After the
discussion ma’am showed us a video entitled “The
Season of your life”. The class during this time was so
motivating and I had a lot of learning from Ma’am De
Vera. The enforcement given by ma’am de vera is big
shot for us because ma’am taught this to us with heart.

Reflective Log #2

Last March 30, 2021 was our second meeting in

this subject PEd 323, we had the first webinar session
the Chapter 1 presented by the first group. They gave
us informative and entertainment at the same time it
is new for us because despite of the situation they
were able to deliver the plan they want for us to
witness. They set the expectation high so us the third
group are also nervous if we were able to hit that kind
of expectation. On the other hand, due to the
entertainment I honestly cannot understand
some of the information but thankfully
after viewing the recorded video second
time around I was able to cope up with
information that I did not
understand. The first
group did a job well done.
Reflective Log #3

Last March 30, 2021 was our third meeting in this subject
PEd 323, the second group tackled in their webinar session is the
Chapter 3 Curriculum Issues. They had a Radio DJ presentation.
They presented the topic informative and lively I can see the
faces of my classmates smiling because of their presentation.
They gave us a brief and concise information about the Chapter
3. Their presentation is about curriculum issues especially
during this time of pandemic the teacher specifically the
teachers of Physical Education are having difficulties in
delivering heir lesson because Physical Education class is
interactive and require an actual activity or actual
demonstration so it is very difficult for the PE teacher during
this time. In conclusion, the situation that we are in today is
giving hard time to both teacher and students because it is a big
adjustment for them I hope that this curriculum issue will be
over and everything will be back into the way it was.
Reflective Log #4

The Group of Chapter 5 presented their video presentation

to everyone they had a Miss Q&A segment. Chapter 5 –
Teaching Physical Education focuses on how to teach
Physical Education, how to deliver the information to the
students to develop their knowledge and also help the
teacher to develop his/her pedagogical approach. I learned
information from them and at the same time I had so
much fun with their way of delivering their assigned
topic. I it a pressure to the other group but I know they
will set the standard much higher because we are BPEd
students and I am proud of where I belong.
Reflective Log #5

April 29, 2021 our group finally

presented to the class our output a
video presentation entitled” The Bottomline” this
segment is inspired with the ABS-CBN talk show.
From the bottom of my heart I am so proud of our
group because aside from giving information to our
classmate we also gave them an entertaining
output because I can see in their smiles. Moreover,
our group was task to present the Chapter 4 –
Planning the curriculum which the main
points are Planning the teaching/learning process, Differences of
learning aims, objectives and outcomes , Structure and
Organization of the teaching/learning process, Schemas, units of
work and single lessons, and Technical aspects of planning the
teaching/learning process. Aside from our group the last group of
this subject also presented their output a video presentation
entitles” Neil Daily” Chapter 6 - Teaching Physical Education and
Safety in Physical Education. In their presentation they cover a
role play scenario of the experiences of a PE teacher and gave us
the Safety feature of Physical Education.
Demo Teaching

This is the screenshot picture in my

demo teaching in this subject PEd 323,
this was our final requirement in this
subject. I am so happy of my rating
from my bellowed teacher because I
know it is exactly the rating of my
performance. I will do my best in the
future and work hard for my future
and especially for my family.
My
Takeaways
The pandemic affect every aspect of our lives we had a sudden
changes in the environment, the people and most especially the
education setting. We had no ideas on how to fulfill the online, blended
and modular modality as a student because it is new to us. A lot of
students chose to stop their study because of it. Being a college student
in this time is very hard and a lot of struggles because we need to fulfill
all of the requirements and meeting of our subjects especially if a
teacher will oblige us to attend virtual meeting or else we will be mark
absent, this is one of the biggest challenges that we had in some of our
subject and it really affect us not just the result but also it frustrates us
because our family is rooting for us.

One of the teacher that fulfill this from the heart request of us students
is no other than our professor of two subjects Ma’am Arlene De Vera.
Ma’am De Vera or we also called her “Momi Doc” is an ideal teacher
for us because she never failed to understand us and never shorten her
patience with us. We are so thankful that we had a teacher like Ma’am
De Vera I know that there are a lot of students who knows how well as
a teacher is Ma’am De Vera. We had two subjects with Ma’am these
are PEd 233 – Administration and Management of PE and Health
Education Program and PEd 323 – Process of Teaching PE
& Health Education, we had a lot or learnings from this two topics. I
will cherish the lessons and modules that Ma’am De Vera gave us
because I know that I will need it in the future and also I want to
become like Ma’am that understand her student and give utmost
patience in the time that needed to.
