ESTABLISHMENT OF SCHOOL GRIEVANCE COMMITTEE

1. As provided under the Rules of Procedure of the Department of Education, a

School Grievance Committee shall be created to settle grievances of teaching
and non-teaching personnel in the school. It will work on settling grievances at
the lowest possible level and provide a catalyst for the development of the
personnel to settle disputes.

2. The School Grievance Committee shall be composed, as follows:

a) School Principal – Jay Ar G. Urgelles
b) President of the Faculty Club – Armando B. Kasilag
c) A teacher acceptable to both the aggrieved party and the object of the
grievance to be appointed by the Principal.

3. The Committee is expected to establish its own procedure and strategies,

develop and implement pro-active measures or activities to prevent grievance
such as an employee assembly at least each quarter, conduct information drive
on grievances, conduct dialogue between parties, and direct documentation of
the grievance including the preparation and signing of written agreements
reached by the parties involved, issue final certification on the Final Action on the
Grievance (CFAG) and other related function as may be assigned in reference to
DepEd Memorandum No. 035, s. 2004.
