I. Rationale
Lumbia National High School, which is from the Schools Division of Negros
Occidental, District of Cauayan Cluster I with School ID 305796, is situated at the
upper part of the Municipality of Cauayan, Negros Occidental. It is on this premise
that the School has been always committed itself to continuing promoting and
providing quality and relevant basic education to all Lumbia National High School
students.
The school is on 5,000 square meters of ground. The school is 10 km. away
from the proper of municipality and may be reached by tricycle, four wheeled
vehicles and most especially habal-habal which is the main transportation. It is at
the center of Purok Narra for it is easily accessible to all learners from the six purok
of Lumbia. As being seen in the vicinity map, we have two (2) concrete classrooms
which was given by KALAHI-CIDSS, one (1) near the office given by the DSWD (an
old kindergarten classroom) and another one (1) was an old Health Center.
As a result, the school offers Grades 7 to 10 for Junior High School and Grades
11 to 12 for Senior High School. The program's goal is to provide students enough
time to understand ideas and skills, to cultivate lifelong learners, and to prepare
graduates for tertiary school.
The total number of learners in the school year 2022-2023 is 205 including
the SHS. Due to the typhoon Odette last December 2021, our make shift classroom
were destroyed.
We apply for shifting of schedules but it was disapproved but then the
school follows regular class schedule.
II. Objectives:
3. To reflect on the best practices and evaluate the gaps for the
implementation of the modality.
