DISTRIBUTED SYSTEM FOR UI PG COLLEGE

OBJECTIVES AND SCOPE

The aim of the project is to come up with a distributed system for UI PG College i.e a system that will
have several components that appear to be in different locations but work together to provide some
services.
Some of the services to be provided by the system are:
1. Enable the user to register and login
2. Enable the user to apply for a course in UI PG College.
3. Enable user to take his/her TPE exams online
4. Enable the user to submit his/her transcript and view his/her transcript.

The system will not be able responsible for departmental registration.

The system will not be responsible for anything beyond the registration, transcript and TPE exams of a
user.

FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS
1. Register
2. Login
3. Make registration payment
4. The system must allow users to access and download their transcripts
5. The system must alow elligible users to apply for one course in PG College
6. The system should show elligible users a list of courses offered
7. The system should pernit users to upload their documents

NON-FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Some of the non functional requirements are;

FEASIBILITY
This project is time feasible and resource feasible. The poroject will likely take a long time to bring it
to completion. At this stage of the project dvelopnment, we cannot say for sure the time it will take or
the amount of resources that will be needed to bring it to a state of completion.
