CREDIT ANALYSIS
• Most applicants meet the minimum requirements
• If minimum is not met, a deposit is required
• 100% refundable after 12 months of paying bill on
time
• Refer to deposit policy online

BILLING
• Customers are billed differently depending on market
• Set the right expectations with customers so they know
what will change when they switch to XOOM Energy
• Representatives are not allowed to remove an original
bill from the customer’s home or business.

BILLING – PG&E
• PG&E bill charges are bundled – includes both distribution
and supply charges
• Gas Core Procurement Cost is the utility’s cost for natural gas
• Baseline Billing: a two-tier billing method where the
customers’ rates increase after they consume a certain
amount of natural gas. No longer applies when customer
switch to XOOM Energy.

BILLING – PG&E

When customers switch to XOOM Energy, they will continue


to receive their bill from the utility. XOOM Energy’s charges
will appear as a line item on the bill. Customers make one
payment to the utility.

San Diego Gas & Electric
• Bill charges are bundled – includes both distribution and
supply charges
• Baseline Billing: a two-tier billing method where the
customers’ rates increase after they consume a certain
amount of natural gas. No longer applies when customer
switch to XOOM Energy.

BILLING – SoCal Gas and


San Diego Gas & Electric
When customers switch to XOOM Energy, they will receive two
bills: one from the utility with distribution costs and one from
XOOM Energy with supply charges. Payments should be sent to
both the utility and XOOM Energy.

Encourage customers to enroll on Auto Bill Pay so they don’t have


to receive two bills.

When enrolling, be sure the customer enters
the correct information:
PG&E: 11 Digit Service Agreement ID
SoCal Gas/SDG&E: 11 Digit Gas Utility
Account Number

CANCELLATION POLICY
• 3 business days to cancel enrollment
• After remorse period, a Cost Recovery Fee will apply
