technologies :
• Designed and erected India’s largest all steel building, with an area of close to a
Million sq. feet.

core and a special steel space frame.

After exploring various avenues of Green renewable construction technology
BACE India has shifted focus to Glass Fibre Reinforced Gypsum (GFRG)
system of construction as we believe that this is the Future of Indian
construction. One of the pivotal mottos of BACE India is Sustainability. The

 The Product :
Glass Fibre Reinforced Gypsm (GFRG) / BACE Swift Build
• In a process that will change forever the way buildings are constructed, GFRG BACE Swift Build takes
natural gypsum or by-product, chemical waste gypsum and turns it into a glass-fibre gypsum plaster, single
panel, load bearing walling system.

• Swift Build is the lowest embodied energy building product in the world today recognised by UN and US
Green Building Council and is eligible for Carbon Credits.

• GFRG (Glass Fibre Reinforced Gypsum) is a revolutionary construction been widely tested and has now
obtained approvals from IIT,BMTPC, CSIR , CPWD-DSR, and the Ministry of Housing Development has
classified this as a thrust technology. Also tested and certified by the Universities of Adelaide, Hong Kong,
Tianjin, Shandong etc.

• In fact after first construction a model block five years back, IIT has constructed an entire new campus using
this Technology. A technology proven in many countries including Australia, China, Oman, Saudi Arabia etc.
and over the last Five years in India too.

• The lead in introducing and adapting this technology to India was taken by IIT-Chennai, and the technology
has Tirupathi and projects have been implemented using this technology for Government of Andhra, Kerala,
and Tamil Nadu. There have been quite a few projects in the Private sector too in the Southern states,
implemented by various contractors. The largest implementer of this technology and a pioneer in this field
with considerable in house R&D and innovation is currently our company BACE India.
