GUIDELINES FOR STUDENTS


It is important to recognize that the online classroom is in fact a real
classroom, and certain behaviors are expected when you communicate
with both your peers and your teachers. These guidelines for online
behavior and interaction are known as netiquette.

DO’S
• Make sure you are seated comfortably and placed the equipment, in the
area where network connectivity is good.
• Keep all the study materials required ready for each session.
• Log in and Join the meeting 5 Minutes before the scheduled time.
• Wait until the session is started by the teacher.
• Be punctual. The session will be locked after some time by teacher, so
that teaching can happen without unnecessary intervention.
• Students should follow the rules set by the teachers.
• Parents can guide the students and encouraged them to do things
asked by the teachers on their own rather than parents doing it.
• Respect the speaker throughout the session. Discipline need to be
maintained during the class.
• Please stay focused and avoid any other kind of distractions during the
session.

DONT’S

• Avoid taking breaks in between the class.


• Do not sit too close to the webcam
• Don’t play around, sleep on bed or couch and eat during the class.
• Don’t unmute yourself. If any query, at end of the session you can
ask.
• Don’t enable the video during class as it may hamper the teaching
learning process.
• To avoid technical glitches students are advised not to connect
through multiple devices.
• Parents are requested not to talk, discuss or whisper near the child
as it can cause distraction to the child.
• Don’t be panic if teacher couldn’t conduct the class due to some
technical glitches, she will reschedule the class after some time.
• Don’t take stress as we are here to help you with your studies.
