Definition of Terms
Leadership
Teacher Leadership
• Teacher leadership is a term used in K-12 schools for
classroom educators who simultaneously take on administrative
roles outside of their classrooms to assist in functions of the
larger school system.
Teacher Leader
• Danielson (2006) explains, "Many schools have instituted
structures in which teachers assume formal leadership roles in
the school, such as master teacher, department chair, team
leader, helping teacher, or mentor.

• A network consists of two or more computers that are linked in
order to share resources (such as printers and CDs), exchange
files, or allow electronic communications.
Etiquette
• It is the rules indicating the proper and polite way to behave
Netiquette
• Netiquette is a combination of the words network
and etiquette and is defined as a set of rules for acceptable
online behavior. Similarly, online ethics focuses on the
acceptable use of online resources in an online social
environment.

• Being a professional teacher is to be a teacher by
profession. Means, we need to be an example, a
role model for our learners.
• Good netiquette means conducting yourself in
an online class with the same respect, politeness
and professionalism that would exhibit in a “real
life classroom”.

Preparation
• Prepare your lesson ahead of time (Mastery of Topic).
• Familiarize on the apps that you will use.
• Arrange your background.
• Ready your heart (try to set aside your other priorities.
• Remove possible distraction.
• Show up ahead of time.
• Focus on the topic.
Respectful
• Dress a class-appropriate attire.
• Wear make up for women / well groom for men.
• Hospitality.
• Camera on.
• Good Manners. Avoid walking around, laying around, burp, making
distraction, consuming food.
• Bring Rapport between you and the learner
• Boost their confidence by using encouraging words.
Accountable
• Set classroom rules.
• Remind their tasks.
• Build teamwork.
• Be mindful of their actions.
• Respond to message gracefully
• Be interested on each one of them.
You are involved.
• Keep yourself belong.
• Treat them as your own family.

NETIQUETTE FOR LEARNERS
• Find a quiet place where you can focus and free from distraction.
• Be on time.
• Turn on your camera
• Mute yourself upon entering the virtual classroom.
• Wait for your turn to speak.
• No chat while teacher is teaching.
• Be respectful at all times.
• Avoid typing in all caps.
NETIQUETTE FOR LEARNERS
• Raise your hand if you want to say something and wait for your
teacher to call you.
• While your video in on, no hand gestures or actions that can distract
the speaker.
• Stay focus on the task and be attentive so you will not miss anything.
