1. Types and relevance of the project
The project we are working on, an ESP-NOW based device for a mine worker alerting system,
serves several important needs and provides valuable benefits. Here are some of the key needs
that our project addresses:

 Worker Safety: The primary need of our project fulfills is enhancing the safety of mine
workers.

 Hazard Detection and Mitigation: Our project addresses the need for effective hazard
detection and mitigation in mining environments.

 Real-time Monitoring and Communication: There is a need for real-time monitoring

and communication systems in mining operations. Your project addresses this need by
utilizing ESP-NOW communication protocol, which enables low-latency and reliable
data transmission between mine worker nodes and the central control unit.

 Emergency Response Improvement: In the event of emergencies, such as cave-ins or

gas leaks, rapid and effective emergency response is crucial.

 Product based project

2. Project title:

 SafetyLink: Revolutionizing Mine Worker Protection with ESP-NOW Alerting System

3. What will be the end product?

The end product of our project, the ESP-NOW based mine worker alerting system, will be a fully
functional device or set of devices designed to enhance the safety of mine workers.
The specific components and configuration of the end product will depend on the detailed design
and implementation choices you make during the project.
It consists of
 Monitoring Station or Interface

8. Brief description of the project:

I. Technology Advancements: The advancement of wireless communication

technologies, such as ESP-NOW, provides opportunities to develop innovative
safety solutions.
II. Worker Safety: The primary motivation is the desire to prioritize the safety and
well-being of mine workers. Mining environments pose various hazards and
risks, and accidents can have severe consequences. By developing an
advanced alerting system, you aim to mitigate these risks and provide a safer
working environment for mine workers.
III. Addressing Industry Challenges: The mining industry faces significant challenges in
ensuring worker safety, particularly in remote and hazardous locations. By
taking up this project, you aim to contribute to addressing these challenges
and improving safety practices within the industry.
IV. Real-time Monitoring and Alerting: The system provides real-time
monitoring of environmental conditions and worker parameters. It continuously
analyzes the sensor data to detect abnormal or dangerous conditions. When a
hazardous situation is detected, the system generates immediate alerts and
warnings to the mine workers, supervisors, and safety personnel.
V. Brief Description of project (Include block diagram or circuit diagram if applicable): The
project aims to develop an innovative safety solution for mine workers
operating in hazardous environments. It involves the creation of a specialized
ESP-NOW based alerting system that combines sensor technology, real-time
data analysis, and efficient communication to enhance mine worker safety.
