• Keep 8mm constant gap with floor pan in highlighted
area of 100mm length shown in pink. 25mm

• Mating surface width is 25 mm around the cross member


shown in yellow. Matting
• Add necessary relieves and notches wherever required. surface

Oil Canning Reinforcement

Aim: To design Oil canning reinforcement based on the section shown in below image

General instructions: REF SECTION

• Use given part itself to design.


• Designed part should be 1mm thick.
• Keep 4mm constant gap with outer panel in highlighted WAIST OTR PNL
