Agenda:Gender Parity : Roadmap for a Balanced World

___________________________________________________________________________

● INTRODUCTION TO THE AGENDA

In all areas of life, including the social, economic, political, and cultural ones, men and
women should be equally represented and involved. This is known as gender parity. This
crucial subject strives to make society more egalitarian by addressing the systemic
injustices and discrimination experienced by women. A key component of establishing
gender equality is gender parity. Qatar is dedicated to advancing women's rights and
empowerment and acknowledges the significance of attaining this. Qatar is committed to
working cooperatively with other nations to build a thorough roadmap for attaining gender
parity and constructing a more balanced world as a member of the United Nations Women
committee.

● INTRODUCTION TO PORTFOLIO

Over the years, Qatar has made considerable strides toward advancing gender equality. In
order to empower women and ensure their active involvement in all aspects of life, the
nation has put into place a number of policies and initiatives. The government of Qatar
has taken action to end discrimination against women in a number of areas, including
education, employment, and political representation, and the country's constitution
provides equal rights for men and women. In particular, Qatar emphasizes the need to
address the underrepresentation of women in positions of power, the gender wage gap, the
fight against gender-based violence, and the promotion of a healthy work-life balance for
both men and women.

● SUGGESTIONS AND SOLUTIONS

● Equal access to a high-quality education for boys and girls is necessary because doing
so will empower individuals to question gender conventions and pursue their goals
without restrictions.
● In order to achieve gender equality, economic empowerment is necessary. Both
genders should have equal access to economic opportunities and resources.
● Many countries still have laws that discriminate against women. Legal actions are
required to attain gender parity. If there is discrimination in the laws governing
marriage, divorce, inheritance rights, property ownership, and working conditions,
they should be reviewed and changed.

In conclusion , establishing gender parity is a difficult process that continues over time
and necessitates coordinated efforts from all stakeholders. The most effective ways to
finish gender inequality are education and awareness campaigns , legislative changes
and economic empowerment. Societies can get one step closer to achieving full gender
equality by putting these tactics into practice and working to remove institutional
difficulties.
