India and China since 2000 and predicts the population will climb up until 2050.
It can be seen from the graph that the population in
India increased significantly from the year 2000 and will keep going up in the future. However, the situation in China is more stable, and it is even expected to decline slightly over the next three decades.
According to the graph, the population of India was 1,0
billion in 2000 and saw a sharp increase over the past 20 years. Its national population is said to outweigh that of China in 2032, and is going to reach a peak of 1.6 billion in 2050. What’s more, it is expected that the growth trend after 2025 will be even lower.
The population figures in China have increased steadily
since 2000. However, by the year of 2030, it will peak at 1.45 billion and then decline steadily, and will drop to 1.4 billion in the year of 2050.
