Unit 3 – The Good Life

1. What is good life?

Good life is something fulfilling and satisfying. It is characterized by

personal happiness, fulfilment and enjoyment of pleasures that life gives.
Saying that life is good, it means being able to access things that basically
give them pleasure and comfort.

2. What is the relationship between the good life and science?

Good life and science are mutually dependent. They affect each other like
cause and effect. Science provides good life for humankind and at the
same time, good life is the impetus that fuels science. Through technology
we can live a good life and goodness through internet, gadgets and other
technology inventions that helps us make daily life much easier.

3. Does technology always lead us to the good life? How and why?

Technology leads to a good life since it is responsible for the betterment of

sectors of our economy because it provide us the means to achieving
something swiftly and in an easier comportment. Modern technology led
the evolution of various devices such as smartphones, computers and
more. Today once cannot see their life without science and technology. It is
somehow important in our daily life because it makes our life easier, faster
and more secure. Technology has made education itself easier as it
provides us more options like online classes, electronic books and many
more.
