Gasket Aging Process

Upon first installation (or gasket

replacement), rib on the bottom of gasket
may wear down as it breaks in to the
machine. This “Aging Process” is a normal
occurrence and after initial settling,
should not pose a problem.
Gasket Rib

Exchanging Gaskets
When you replace gaskets, make sure to push in the bottom of the gasket.
The gasket has to be properly placed, or it can cause more wearing of the ribs.

Also, make sure to apply some grease to reduce wearing down of the gasket.

Apply grease before replacing
