Appendix A2 – METHOD STATEMENT 1.

Tenderer shall provide a method statement detailing how it intends to carry out the various
aspects and phases of the work, the method statement shall address the following: - • Data
gathering. • As-built data gathering, topographic, geo-technical, bathymetric, and other
surveys. • Transportation and handling, within Nigeria of all pipelines, equipment skids, bulk
materials, camp supplies, personnel, other. • Site access and installation constraints. • Initial
mobilisation. • Detailed design procedures and plan. • Mobilisation for construction and
demobilisation/handover of completed projects (identifying any phasing). • Plans for
concurrent management of multiple tasks. • How local contractor support will be provided
during construction and installation. 2. All significant dependencies created within the project
schedule submitted with this tender shall be identified in the method statement. 3. Where the
Tenderer, or any of its JV partners, intend to construct or upgrade fabrication yard/facilities or
workshop for the purposes of performance of the works, these shall be identified in the method
statement. 4. Tenderer shall provide a detailed proposal identifying how it evaluates, approves
and monitors technical deviations on the intended design.
