A Rainy Saturday with Tom’s family

It wasn’t very warm and sunny last Saturday. 1 e
After breakfast, we turned on the TV set in the living room and my younger sister Monica watched
a few cartoons. She had a great time and laughed a lot.
Monica’s favourite cartoons are Dora the Explorer and Peppa Pig. 2 __
My mum loves Polish soap operas, so she watched two episodes of “M jak miłość”. Soap operas
are boring for me and my dad, so we played a video game in my room. 3 __
At 1.00 p.m., we had lunch and later we all watched a quiz show. 4 __ They always know all
the answers to the questions. After that, we tidied up the house. Monica and I tidied our rooms,
dad tidied the bathroom and the hall, and mum cleaned the kitchen and vacuumed the living room.
We sat in front of the TV set later in the evening at around 7.30 to watch the news. 5 __ The good
news was that nobody was killed.
Finally, we watched a great adventure film with Harrison Ford. 6 __ We enjoyed it very much.
