My name is Adam and I work in a restaurant in the centre of Singapore. I start my work at 11.00 a.m. and I finish at
11.30 p.m.
I am not a waiter or a typical cook. I am a chef and I create delicious dishes every day. At work, I wear a white uniform
but I often get dirty in the kitchen. In my restaurant work three chefs and twenty-four cooks.
The waiters and waitresses often tell me that guests like my dishes very much. That makes me very happy.

Hi! I’m Monica and I work in a café in the centre of London. I start my work early in the morning, at about 6 a.m. and I
finish at noon.
I am not a cook or a chef, I am a waitress and I always wear an elegant white blouse and a black skirt at work.
I am very careful when I am serving people their food. I smile a lot and talk with many of the guests every day.
I work with very creative chefs, who prepare some delicious breakfasts and lunches.
My job is very exciting but it is also very tiring because there are always a lot of guests in the café.
