Senior and expert coordinator of the military sexual trauma program. Conducts
Comprehensive and Focus Mental Status Exam daily to provided appropriate and timely
diagnosis and treatment to ensure quality care for over 700 patients with acute and chronic
mental health and medical conditions
 Initiates daily assignment for the program. Evaluates and review updated policies
and procedures annual for compliance. Provide support for front line staffs and
nurse, and other allied to health care to ensure quality behavior services.
 Autonomous role to assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluation care to treat
individual with psychiatric disorders along with substance abuse, domestic
violence, and sexual trauma. Works diligently with case managers for psychosocial
needs.
 Leads and coordinates/manages a mental health crisis intervention team for
inpatient admission to expedite urgent outpatient consults/ or direct admissions
approximately 10-12 patient’s walk-in per week with suicidal/homicidal ideation
or psychosis along with scheduled panel of patients.
 Coordinates and treat substance use disorder along with referrals and consults to
the Comprehensive Outpatient Substance Abuse Treatment program for dual
treatment modality.
 Serves as a resource and advocate for underserved and vulnerable Veterans who
are chronically homeless with complex serious mental ill with comorbid problems.
Collaborates with Pharm-D regarding evidence-based treatment in controlled
substances, suboxone, naltrexone, electroconvulsive therapy, and transcranial
magnetic stimulator.

 Budgets Funds: Spending plan request for patients’ residential care and events
planning budget $500-$3000 per events.
 Women and Men Cognitive Processing Groups psychotherapy every quarter 5-10
patients due to COVID protocol.
 Follows/hospital policy/procedures of VHA guideline of utilization or appropriated
medications, labs tests, consults, and referrals. Leads and organized delivery-of-
care to assure continuity of care, including same day access.
 Coordinates/Participates on multiple Mental health committee to updates
programmatic and systems risk factors that may need improving.
 Complete 10-25 consults per week for traumatic stress screenings.
 Experience delivery of clinic services via various Telehealth modality including VA
Video Connect and Clinical Video Telehealth.
