Her Job Responsibilities as STAFF NURSE/ PRIMARY NURSE includes the following:

 Responsible for quality patient/family healthcare delivery during shift ensuring safe
customer service which the patients would consider excellent.
 Implements the nursing process and utilizes the approved procedures, work
instructions, policies and guidelines in providing quality client/ family health care
during the shift.
 Responsible for the proper carrying out of duties in order to maintain proper ethical
and professional standards for the care of patients during the shift.
 Ensures the preparation of the patient for diagnostic procedures, treatment and
therapeutic regimen of assigned patients or care services during the shift.
 Ensures that patients have proper identification with accurate data and are properly
identified before any treatment or procedure.
 Administers medications safely, accurately, completely and timely during the shift.
 Transcribes prescriptions as required, follow up, facilitate and store patient’s supply
of medicines in the unit safely and accurately during the shift.
 Documents medications administered accordingly to the guidelines provided during
the shift.
 Provides health education and information to patient and family regarding
medications administered, treatments and care activities provided.
 Documents completely all the needed data and nursing care activities according to the
nursing care standard during the shift (including incident reports and patient
feedback).
 Responsible for personal professional growth and development by reporting to duty
on time, attending institutional, departmental and unit meetings and completing
required updates or continuing education. This includes mastery of safety procedures
and guidelines, customer relations, and organizational programs.

Furthermore, Ms. Paat is recommended for her very good standing as she demonstrates
accountability and honesty, accuracy and diligence, efficiency, resourcefulness, intelligence
and cooperation. She was observed to exhibit commendable communication skills and
customer service skills. Moreover, her attendance record was very good and her general
health made her fit for work and other related activities.
