Learning task 3.2

Instruction: Identify two difficulties in reading and speech that you have encounter or
experienced when you were young that up until now is causing you problems. Provide a clear
example on how it affected you and how you coped up and overcome it.
 The first difficulty in reading and speech that I encounter is when I was grade 7. I
become center of bully that time because of the way I speak. Every time I spoke up at
that time I always mind my pronunciation. Since that time I was afraid of
communicating others and become introvert. At that time I don’t have friends and I
always cry because they keep teasing me about how I speak and it makes me more
hate myself for being dump in speaking. But when I was grade 8 my teacher in ESP
makes me realized that one of the way in loving yourself is accept our flows and
imperfections that the time I start to read more books and improve my pronunciation
not for them but for myself.
 The second time is when we start the face to face classes, I feel being discriminated
because of the way I speak. All my roommate is from one place and I am the only one
where from other place in which we have different dialogue so my language and way
of speaking is different from them that is why sometimes we have language barrier.
So sometimes it is hard to communicate them and there is time that I became
laughing stock. But despite of that I become bolder and accept it that it’s me and I
love my way of speaking I won’t mind if they find it weird. I accept my imperfections
same of what I do when I was highschool.
