Examples of some of our projects:


▪ We worked on a Machine Learning solution for retail stores and helped them to increase their sales.
We have worked with our client to gather their sales data, promotion, and discount data for model
engineering. We also used weather data from the US government to develop historical weather model.
Our team created a hybrid ML model that predicts future sales far more accurately than the existing ML
model used by customer. We used Fourier transforms to decompose sales, analyze trends, and remove
noise from the sales time series. Then we applied logarithmic, exponential, and S-curve transformations
to features which helped us to develop hybrid regression models and predict upcoming future sales.

▪ For another client, we developed a Business Intelligence solution to pull high volume data (more than
150 million rows) from source tables to a staging environment efficiently. We developed visually rich
reports that allow business users to analyze the data from a different perspective and do what-if analysis
based on business needs. We developed data orchestration pipelines to pull a high volume of data in 30
minutes and developed reports using Power BI with optimal page performance.
▪ One of our clients has recently made huge investments in marketing and sales using social media
platforms such as Facebook and Twitter. The client wants to see which of these social networks are
producing positive outcomes and providing key opportunities. The data is the entire universe of social
data, and reports need to mine through each entry to identify strengths and weaknesses. The
consolidated, cleaned and transformed data needs to be presented using interactive Power BI
visualization.

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Management Analyst, with broad experience in
the data management industry and an aptitude to learn about AI and machine learning. Our customers
include sales and marketing professionals who are launching marketing programs to reach consumers
and businesses worldwide.

This position requires working with senior management to explore new areas where we can grow the
business. It requires taking the lead in exploring and solving unstructured problems. For technology-
oriented companies, typical leadership emerges from technical ranks (e.g., Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Larr
Page, Jeff Bezos, and many others). We have found that our most successful managers possess strong
technical backgrounds and some business knowledge (not the other way around).

This is a general management role with fast growth for the right candidates. It includes all the technical
and managerial challenges associated with ensuring successful completion of organization-wide
initiatives by coordinating with multiple teams across the organization. This is a unique opportunity
involving general management responsibility with a growing organization as part of the core
management team. This is a new position to help us accommodate growth in people and projects.

The Management Analyst role requires attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines. The
role requires an ability to switch gears at a moment's notice. A high level of integrity and discretion in
handling confidential information is expected. The successful candidate will possess the ability to
complete complex tasks and projects quickly with little guidance. For MBA graduates with experience in
the technology industry, the position will start with owning business priorities and organization
initiatives. Examples of past initiatives include:

Build technical capability: The technology world is evolving very fast. One of our core values is to stay on
the cutting edge of that evolution. This includes identifying relevant engineers, creating a training
program, training, and certifying the engineers. Some initiatives in this category are:
a. Create a 100-person AI task force
b. Create a Microsoft Power BI center of excellence
c. Migrate our customers to public cloud (Azure and AWS)

Adopt new engineering practices: The world of software engineering has kept pace with changes in
technology. New engineering paradigms are introduced every so often. We focus on adopting these
engineering practices like Agile Development, Continuous Delivery and Continuous Integration, and
DevOps. This includes identifying best practices from the industry, modifying them to our delivery
structure, identifying the change management process, implementing these processes consistently
across the organization; and in some cases, getting them certified from industry experts. Some initiatives
in this category are:
a. Facilitate ISO 27001: 9001 certification for the entire organization
b. Adopt automated deployment process across the organization
c. Move project tracking toolset to GIT and allied open source standards
Create pre-sales and marketing material: With fast-paced changes in technology and software
engineering practices, pre-sales and marketing materials need to be created or revised. Some initiatives
in this category are:
a. Create white papers and case studies to showcase AI expertise
b. Work with external vendors to prepare articles and videos of the company
c. Create and execute on social media marketing strategy (reputation management)
d. Prepare detailed sales proposals and estimates in consultation with engineers
e. Distribute monthly newsletters to current and prospective customers
f. Update partner portals (Microsoft and AWS) to promote the company services and products

The management development program may require short term travel to Redmond, Washington.

Your key result areas as a percentage of your overall work items will be:

Collaborate with members of technical staff to advance company initiatives (~30%)


• Conceptualize and define initiatives (technical and sales growth oriented) for the company
• Plan and track projects
• Handle all Program Management tasks as required
• Send reports to the Senior Management team daily and weekly

Support senior management (~30%)


• Assist senior management with analysis, reports, and follow-throughs
• Prepare presentations, written documents and company communication
• Review competitive landscape and identify business opportunities

Pre-sales and customer management (~30%)


• Technical pre-sales support to help customers realize our strong technical ability
• Help support branding efforts in campuses and in the community through content marketing
• Develop RFPs, providing project plan and effort estimates for six to twelve projects every year

Recruitment, process development, and training (~10%)


• Innovate and improve company recruitment process
• Train and mentor high-performance teams including driving training for about 10 experienced
hires and 40 junior developers every year
• Build the team through industry network

Candidate Profile:
• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering from a leading university
• MBA from one of the leading management institutes (IIMs or equivalent)
• Must have team management experience
• Strong technical background in Microsoft platform with the ability to develop specifications and
work with project team
• Strong project management skills and ability to handle two to five projects at a time

Experience: 2-5 years or more

Compensation: Stipend 50000 p.m.
