Areej is a highly accomplished professional with 23 years of experience in different


sectors with expertise in Business Development and Sales. She is a driven, result-oriented and
decisive leader with a proven ability to lead, motivate and coach the sales team to over-achieve
sales targets.

Areej held leadership positions at national and international companies including her
recent position as the Business Development Director at Rebzo Company, a cloud-based sales
and field force management solution. Within her role, Areej was responsible for building and
managing the Sales Department. She is also responsible for strategic planning, launch and
implementation, including new product lines and application development. Areej led the company’s
launch into different industries and was involved in the development of the company's branded
product line and improving sales.

Areej was the Head of Business Development at Swvl company, a startup offering a
tech-driven affordable, and convenient transportation service. Within her role, Areej managed to
achieve a 23% increase to the company's Gross Margins from the core products (SAS and
TAS). Additionally, she was responsible for

boosting sales by 14% during the economic recession, reversing a protracted and
serious declining sales trend.

Areej assumed the roles of Sales and Customer Service Manager at the Arab Insurance
Company, the VIP Sales Manager at Umniah, and the Head of Sales at Zain and Orange
Jordan. She organized the ‘universities project’ that aimed to train university students on sales
skills and all types of insurance products, in support of students finding job opportunities after
graduation.

Areej participated in several programs aiming at empowering women such as being part
of the CSR team in Zain with an objective of supporting the education and employment of
female refugees.
