My name is Ivet Pastor Valverde, and I am currently a fourth-year student of Psychology at the
University of Barcelona. I hereby send you my application for the position of Recruitment
Intern in Space Applications Services. Below I indicate the main reasons that lead me to do so.

I started studying Psychology in order to understand better people’s behaviour. During my

bachelor, I have seen many fields where psychologists can help, but it has not been until this
year when I have realized the great role we can have in the Department of Human Resources
while doing an internship in Work and Organizational Psychology. In February, I started
working as an Intern in the Group Contact Center Institute, CLICC, and Smartcex in Barcelona,
where I have developed functions as: publishing job adverts, curriculum screening, using social
networks to search for potential talents, creating professional development plans and
searching for training courses. My contract was supposed to finish in June, but the company
offered me to stay 6 more months and I find it a superb opportunity to continue learning,
improving my skills and gaining professional experience which undoubtably will be profitable
in my future.

From my point of view, practice is the most important part of learning; that is why I would love
to do an internship in your company starting in February 2022, once I have finished my 1-year
internship in Barcelona. I believe this will give me a new point of view, not only of the Human
Resources Department but the way of working in a company known for its aim to develop
innovative systems to the aerospace, a growing industry that I believe is going to bring many
new opportunities to our planet and the human race.

Moreover, from September 2020 to February 2021, I did an Erasmus in Gent, Belgium, that
truly made me fall in love with the city, the country and their people. The idea of working in a
city as important as Brussels fills me of motivation for obtaining this internship.

Finally, it would be a pleasure and an essentially enriching learning for me to be able to work
with you.
