THE DURNAS TOWER PROJECT

The lighthouse, which seems to be built by an ancient civilization of High

Elves, will be renovated into a wizard's tower under orders of the Magic-User
Vishan Durnas. The tower will serve as a private study, housing and treasury
for Durnas as well as be a place for other Magic-Users to visit and lodge. The
style of furnishing should be Arabic/Persian style, as Durnas hails from a far
away land, where this style is common. All visitors not studying the arcane
arts, besides acquaintances of Durnas, will be denied entry.

WALLS:
The walls surrounding the tower should be repaired as to stop any invading
forces. If the walls can be walked on, guards with ranged weapons will be
stationed here.

COURTYARD:
Will be cleaned up and be used as a regular courtyard, perhaps with a statue or
fountain in the center.

HOUSE:
Dependent on the actual dimensions of the house, there will be a guest bedroom
and/or a sleeping hall for guests. A kitchen will be present here as well,
large enough to serve a feast or banquet in the case of important visitors.

SHACK:
The shack will be turned into a blacksmith, would the need for a blacksmith
arise. The basement below the shack will serve as a general storage room,
housing supplies such as food, drink and building materials.

THE TOWER:

BASEMENT:
A basement will be dug from the ground floor of the tower the size of
50x50x8 ft, and will serve as the barracks for the mercenaries and a weapon
storage. A secret door will be made that leads into a 30x30 ft room that will
serve as a treasure room.

GROUND FLOOR:
Should remain mostly empty and serve as a place for guards to gather and hold a
defensive position from.

FLOOR 1:
Lounge for visitors. Persian style couches, cushions and rugs are here to allow
guests to rest and discuss in comfort. Besides the occasional feast, Arabic
style pipe smoking will be served here, to give the mind a more trancendental
view of the world.

FLOOR 2:
Library and communal research hall. Large bookcases filled with books about
ancient history, magic and strange creatures. This is where Magic-Users and
scholars from far and wide may study and exchange secrets.

FLOOR 3:
Museum and collection of curious artifacts. Magical or otherwise strange
objects and creatures will be added to this collection for visitors to view and
study.

FLOOR 4:
Vishan Durnas' private study and living area. The walls lined with bookshelves
and a large, wooden desk in the center.

LIGHT ROOM & BALCONY:

Will serve as a position for guards using ranged weapons. The light, if active,
will serve to signal ships away from the reef. Ships may be required to pay a
tax in the future.
