In United State, there is a very fantastic holiday called "Cartoon Day”.

It’s celebrated on
January 2nd. Before this day, people buy costumes of different cartoons. This day the streets
are very crowded. In the main day, all the children visit the parks and look the cartoons. They
can take photos with favorite cartoon. The stories and streets are decorated with balloons and
cartoons pictures. When the children walk in the street, the stories give many candies for
them. It is very funny.

My grandfather, said me: When he was young, people do their costumes with cloths or other
materials in their houses. But today is different.

At night, there is a big party with music and cartoon contests. When children participate, they
win a lot of prices. After this holiday, they meet with their friends and family. Children eat the
candies and sweets.
