Capstone Update #3

What I have accomplished so far

I have started to draft the new arrangements ideas and shared with my mentor I did all of this in paper
to have a better track, manipulation and observation of my ideas and progress. I also did a written
explanation of why I’m making the changes I’m making, and how it makes the space even better, more
dynamic and keeping comfortability at the same time. I am proud that I have that ability of imagination
and picturing how something would look better.

What I plan to accomplish by the end of the week

I want to finish all the options which might only be 3 as it is hard to arrange and keep it dynamic at the
same time, especially if I’m not an expert although I keep talking to my mentor, he has told me that my
first option looks good. Also start looking for potential materials I could need like cardboard, wood, hot
glue paint etc...

My needs (materials, time, space, mentor etc.)

More time to keep working on the blueprints and start looking for materials like a piece of wood and
cardboard, hot glue, paint, to build a model of how the final design would look like. More patience as
making handmade blueprints required precise and accurate making.

Challenges I encountered and how I have overcome them

Making a single blueprint took me around 3 hours, it is hard and time taking since it involves lots of
precision and critical thinking as it involves all types of points of view and considerations such as
dynamic, comfortability, good use of space, not just randomly placed, but with purpose.
