1. At the end of this lesson, students can recall and discuss key elements of the
snow-white story, including the characters and main events.
2. At the end of this lesson, students will have engaged in sensory exploration of real
apples, describing their physical characteristics such as texture, smell, and sound.

3. Storybook Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Book
4. Real apples for sensory exploration
5. Construction Paper, glue scissors and cotton balls
6. Large Whiteboard or Chart Paper
7. Apple Parts Worksheet
8. Small Plastic Bags
9. Sliced Apples

Procedure:
10. Gather the children and start by discussing fairy tales. Ask the children if anyone
has heard of the story snow white.
11. Introduce the story using a large whiteboard or chart paper, drawing simple
illustrations to help them understand the characters and the plot.
12. Read the story of snow white to the children using expressive tones and gestures.
Engage the children in a discussion about the story emphasizing the apple part Ask
questions such as:
- Who are the characters?
- What do you think will happen when snow white takes a bite of the apple?
- Can you describe the apple that the Queen gave to Snow White?
- Why do you think the Queen wanted Snow White to eat the apple?
- How do you think Snow White felt when she saw the shiny red apple?

13. Bring out real apples and let the children explore them using their senses.
14. Encourage them to describe the apples.
- How do they feel?
- What do they smell like?
- What do they sound like when tapped on the table?

15. Give the children construction paper, glue, and cotton balls.
- Have the children create their own apple art by gluing cotton balls onto the
construction paper; They can use markers to add features like eyes and a mouth.
16. Cut out dwarf hat shapes from construction paper.
- Allow the children to decorate the hats with markers and stickers.

17. Distribute sliced apples as a healthy snack.


- Discuss the importance of eating fruits for good health.
