In this fast-changing world due to
modernization, we adapt to the electronic era
where everything is almost done using
computers and gadgets; and almost all of
individuals around the world has cellular
devices and access to the internet. As future
educators, we must be aware of these
changes so that we can adapt to the new
environment of our future students, where we
can innovate different learning strategies that
will get the attention and ignite the fire of
learning of these children.

In a rapidly evolving educational

landscape, the traditional classroom model
faces new challenges and opportunities. As
we strive to equip students with the skills and
knowledge needed for success in the 21st
century, innovative approaches to teaching
and learning are gaining momentum. One
such approach, game-based learning, has
emerged as a powerful tool to engage and
educate learners of all ages. Embracing the
concept of game-based learning is no longer
just a choice; it's an essential for anyone
especially us future educators. In a world
where attention spans are shrinking, and
traditional teaching methods struggle to
captivate learners, game-based learning
stands as a captivating and highly effective
alternative for this is where children nowadays
spend most of their time compared to us in the
past.

We have chosen this topic because it

explores the compelling reasons why we
should not just be interested in learning this
but deeply invested in understanding and
implementing game-based learning, because
it holds a dynamic approach that can
revolutionize education by making learning
engaging, enjoyable, and more meaningful for
learners of all ages. Additionally, it fosters
critical skills, and adapt to the diverse needs of
modern learners.

and evolving pedagogical methods,
incorporating game-based learning into our
educational systems offers a compelling
solution. This introduction will explore the
reasons why we should teach game-based
learning, highlighting its potential to engage
students, foster critical skills, and adapt to the
diverse needs of modern learners.
We should define what really is Game-
Based Learning, does it only have a positive
impact? Or does it also have a negative
impact? Begin with a clear and concise
definition of Game-Based Learning that it is
the use of games in education or
implementation of lessons to be more
engaging in learners nowadays. And to enable
the reader grasp the awareness of the use
and nature of Game-Based Learning.
We should tell the reader of what they need
to keep in mind when engaging in a Game-
Based Learning, we should tell them that they
should Align Games with Learning Objectives:
Ensure that the games you choose or create
directly support the educational goals you
want to achieve. Clearly define what you want
students to learn and then design or select
games that reinforce those specific concepts
or skills. Remember that while games can be
highly engaging, they should serve as a tool to
enhance learning rather than just providing
entertainment.

We can have a diverse interview on

different teachers on what they know about
Game-Based Learning and to know their stand
for this; their answers will strengthen the
foundation of the information that we will

attention span of these children towards the
lesson. In order to captivate their attention, we
must also go in their world so that we may
grasp and ignite the fire of their eagerness in
learning.
We also know that the positive impact of
Game-Based Learning is:
 It supports multiple areas of learning
and development of student.
 Root for imagination.
 Promote active participation in class.
 Helps to mitigate difficult matter.
 Can be a source of distraction.
 Not aligned with objectives.

We want to find more about Game-Based

Learning. Because just like any educational
approach, has its own set of pros and cons,
and we will use that information on the output
that we will generate.

The web already contains every bit of

information we need in making our output. We
will have a concise citation towards others'
work because it will stand as the foundation of
our output. Through having a brainstorming as
a group, we already know what is Game-

are as follows: Ivhan, Alysa, Anna Jean,
Sandara and Wrena will handle the
information that we will use on the output
through a search on the internet, Vincent will
conduct an interview and a concise checking
of the output and lastly, Jaymie and Loi will
work on the editing of the final output.

you share information about the
topic you selected? making this, it can be posted on different
social media platforms, and it can either be a
softcopy, through posting the infographic on
social media or in a hardcopy where it will be
printed out and placed on bulletin boards.
Through an infographic, it can be seen by
most individuals because almost every
individual around us have cellular devices, has
access on the internet and has social media
accounts. This will be convenient for us
because everyone will be able to see the
infographics because all of us have access on
the internet and we can also share this easily
on a large number of people where they can
read, and learn of what is Game-Based
Learning.
