How to log in:

Enter your
username

password If you have forgotten your username or password
– select this link and follow prompts

Note: your username is the same as your Student ID

How to log out:

Click on your user icon


(top right-hand side of screen)

New Students – apply for enrolment in a course:

If you are a new student (i.e. you have not previously been
enrolled in a course and/or you do not have a login) you can
apply for enrolment in a course using the student
application form (Registration and Enrolment Form).

1) Select Student_Type drop-down menu

2) Select ‘New’

3) The form will change the required fields to include your


contact details. Enter the following information:
➢ your Email
➢ your Family Name
➢ your Given Name(s)
➢ your Phone (if applicable)
➢ your Mobile (if applicable)
➢ your Address
➢ your City
➢ your Country – this must be your 2-digit country
code (e.g. enter KE for Kenya). You can use the link in the
form to identify your country code if not known.

Complete the remaining items in the application form:

4) Student_Group – select the appropriate group, if known. Leave blank if


you do not know your Student_Group or if your group is not available in
the list.

5) Subject – using the drop-down menu, select the subject you wish to enrol
in e.g. ITB (Introduction to the Bible) - (use the link provided for subject details)

6) Pay_Method – select the appropriate option for the pay method used to
pay for your course enrolment. Note: your payment must be made prior to
completing this Registration and Enrolment form - contact your Teacher or
email ptc@aeint.org for further details.

7) Receipt_Ref – if applicable enter your receipt reference here.

8) Comment – you can enter any information relevant to your request for
enrolment in the comments section. If none apply, leave blank.

9) When you have completed all relevant details select

10) You will receive a confirmation that the form has been submitted.

11) Select if you wish to apply for enrolment in an


additional course.

Existing Students – apply for enrolment in another course:
If you are an existing student (i.e. you have previously been enrolled in a course) you will already have
login details for this site. You can apply for enrolment in another course using the student
application form (Registration and Enrolment Form).

1) Select Student_Type drop-down menu

2) Select ‘Existing’

3) The form will change the required fields to


include your student ID. Enter the following
information:
➢ your Student_ID – this is the same as
your username (note: you must include
all 7 digits in your Student_ID, including
any zeros at the beginning,
e.g. 0011478)
➢ your Email address

4) Student_Group – select the appropriate


group, if known. Leave blank if you do not
know your Student_Group or if your group

STUDENTS – Assessment & Subject Completion Certificates
➢ Open the COURSE

➢ Go to the ASSESSMENT section, you will see the following information (using Introduction to the Bible as an
example):

Course Completion and Certificate


1) The Final Exam is 100% of your overall assessment. You can only attempt one final exam (the Final Exam -
Online). The Paper Based exam is not available online (contact your teacher/administrator if you wish to
attempt the paper-based exam).

2) AE Approval – additional course requirement

➢ when you have completed your final exam online – send an email to ptc@aeint.org – include your
name, username (student_ID), subject and the date you completed the exam.
➢ an AE supervisor will check your enrolment, payment, etc and provide a satisfactory grade if all
relevant requirements are met.
➢ once this activity has been marked satisfactory, you will be able to view, download or print your
Subject Completion Certificate.

3) Your Subject Completion Certificate will only be available if you have achieved the following:

➢ you obtain a passing grade in either the Final Exam – Online OR the Final Exam – Paper Based
➢ you have obtained “satisfactory” for the Course Requirement – AE Approval

When you have successfully completed a subject, you will automatically receive a Subject Completion Badge –
these badges can be viewed via your Profile. The Subject Completion Badge will generate access to your Subject
Completion Certificate – available in the Assessment section of the course.

You can only access your Subject Completion Certificate when you are currently enrolled in a course. If you are
no longer enrolled in a course you cannot access your Subject Completion Certificate. However, you will retain
your Subject Completion Badge. If you want to save a copy of your Subject Completion Certificate you can
download and save to your files and/or print your certificate.

STUDENTS – How to review a completed exam (feedback and
marks)
1) Open the COURSE
2) Select the exam in the ASSESSMENT section, e.g. ITB Final Exam – Online
3) The following screen will appear:

4) When you click on REVIEW, your results and feedback will appear:

5) You can review any or all of the questions in the exam and view your feedback.
6) If you would like to view all questions on one page - use the Quiz navigation to select “Show all questions on
one page”

7) When finished reviewing your exam select “Finish review” in the Quiz navigation

Note: you can only see your grades and review your quiz attempts if you are currently enrolled in the course.

Access to the Moodle Mobile App has been enabled in the AE Moodle.

7) Enter your Username (7-digit student ID) and your Password to login to the AE Moodle and access your
courses

8) Once you have successfully logged in to the site, you will remain logged in.

9) From the dashboard (scroll to see all available information):


➢ you can select the courses you are currently enrolled in
➢ apply for enrolment in another subject

10) After selecting a course, you can
➢ view course content
➢ view your grades
➢ attempt practise quizzes
➢ attempt final exam
➢ download course to your device (for access offline)
