1. Briefly discuss the case of TERRY VS. OHIO? (15 pts.)

a. What is stop and frisk (10 pts)
b. Sometime on June 12, 2023, it was a rainy evening when Ms. Theresa was
standing at the front of Lebak Public Terminal with long black jacket and a hoody
seemingly with red eyes and arms always tuck on her pocket while continuously
walking back and forth. Officer Jessa Mae was a newly deployed patrolwoman in
the area after completing her physical training in the police academy, when she
saw Ms. Theresa, she then ordered that Ms. Theresa be against the wall while
she frisked the body of Ms. Theresa. She recovered one grenade and two 45
caliber pistols in Ms. Theresa’s pocket. A case for illegal possession of firearms,
ammunitions and explosives were filed against Ms. Theresa. For the defense Ms.
Theresa argued that she was illegally searched without any search warrant.
Officer Jessa Mae countered that the same is a valid stop and frisk. If you were
the judge how will you rule the case? (12 pts.)
2. Why is it that the complaint or information must be filed in the name of the People of
the Philippines? (10 pts.)
3. What is the effect of subsequent marriage of the offender and the victim of rape(3pts.)
