STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

For admission in PGDLM from


LUXURY CONNECT BUSINESS SCHOOL

Growing up everyone has a vision to either be a researcher, a doctor or an engineer etc. For me
it’s about running my own business and having a brand of my own. Luxury is fashionable and
it can now be found in nearly every retail, manufacturing or service industry.

Luxury brand management is an exciting and dynamic field that has grown in importance in
recent years due to the global demand for luxury products and experiences. As consumers seek
out high-quality and prestigious brands, luxury brand managers must stay at the forefront of
trends and consumer behavior to deliver exceptional service and experiences. Whether an
individual is interested in fashion, fine dining, beauty, or travel, the world of luxury brand
management offers a diverse and rewarding career path that combines creativity, business
acumen, and passion for luxury goods.

Whereas the global economy is constantly changing, one constant is people’s infatuation with
luxury. Since luxury brands are becoming more than just a status symbol, the luxury market
has stayed strong even during the pandemic chaos. They have become synonymous with
ambition, taste, advantage, confidence, luxury, and, most crucially, success. After having done
my graduation from SSR COLLEGE OF ART’S , COMMERCE AND SCIENCE an affiliated
college with SAVITRIBAI PHULE PUNE UNIVERSITY as a BBA student ,I wish to develop
my skills through higher education further. Therefore I decided to do PGDLM i.e., Post
Graduation in Luxury Brand Management from Luxury Connect Business School, Gurugram.

As a BBA student in marketing, my objective is to learn and develop skills in luxury brand
management. I am motivated to explore the intricate world of luxury brands, understand their
essence, and identify the different factors that contribute to their success. Through this
program, I aim to develop a comprehensive understanding of the luxury market dynamics,
including the consumer behaviour, marketing strategies, and branding techniques.
My passion for luxury brands and my marketing background in BBA has led me to identify the
increased demand for luxury products worldwide. This trend has created numerous
opportunities for businesses to boost their brand image, expand their product portfolios and,
ultimately, increase their profitability. I am eager to learn how businesses can leverage these
opportunities and stand out in the highly competitive luxury market.

With my academic background in business and passion for luxury brands, I am confident that
this program will enable me to achieve my objectives and reach my potential. I aspire to work
in the luxury brand management industry and become a specialist in the field. I aim to apply
my skills and knowledge to help businesses create and deliver exceptional luxury experiences
for their consumers.

In conclusion, pursuing a degree in luxury brand management is a crucial step towards


achieving my career aspirations and developing my skills. I am excited to embark on this
amazing journey and learn from accomplished professionals in the industry. I believe that this
program will provide me with the necessary skills and knowledge to contribute to the growth
of businesses in the luxury sector.
