LETTER OF COMPLAINT

Dear Sir,
I have just returned from a holiday organized by your travel company and I am
writing to express my disappointment with a number of things.
First of all, in your advertisement, it is described that tourists can engage in a variety
of thrilling activities such as rock climbing, canoeing, caving, sailing, and windsurfing
every day; whereas in fact only two activities were offered each day. What’s more,
travelers do not have the chance to experience windsurfing and sailing because neither
of them was provided.
My second complaint concerns group-work activities. Many teamwork activities are
featured on the brochure such as a 3-day camping expedition or 2 problem-solving
activities, however, all plans cannot be carried out successfully as expected. The
weather for 3 days was covered in rain which prevented the expeditions from taking
place. Moreover, 2 problem-solving activities are made worse when conflicts between
sides arise and result in the shouting of the other group.
Finally, I should like to draw my attention to accommodations for holidaymakers. As
informed in the advertisement, we can enjoy some of the remarkable facilities at the
residential center. In reality, we were taken to a remote old hostel without any means
of transport and given simple equipment like table tennis, and a pack of cards. To
make matter worse, memorable and mountainous meals cooked by talented chefs were
not served to us. Instead, all of the high-quality services are only true with .where we
should have stayed on this vacation.
All this ruined a wonderful stay that I should have received and therefore I would like
a partial refund. I suggest 50 percent of the cost of the vacation.
I hope this issue will be resolved as soon as possible. I look forward to hearing from
you.
Yours faithfully,
