Letter of complaint

I am writing to express dissatisfaction with my recent adventure holiday in “Windermere

Wildside” as it did not correspond to the advertisement that I saw in my city. I will never forget such a
bad experience and I will not recommend it to any of my friends for anything in the world.

It started from the day after we arrived when we found out that there were only two activities
offered each day instead of “wide range” as it was mentioned in the advertisement; on 8 days, neither
wind-surfing nor sailing was proposed and it was disappointed. Another thing that frustrated me was
the joys of group-work. We had a three-day camping expedition in the rain including two problem-
solving activities where I was shouted at by the rest of the group, quite horrible memories. The Wildside
Hall, a residential center where my “day-off” was promised, more looked like a youth hostel, seven miles
away where was no buses and cars at all. The facilities completely differed from the mentioned ones;
there were only table tennis and a pack of cards instead of sauna, swimming pool and games room. Final
thing of my deceitful holiday was a characteristic canteen food. It seemed that they made a mistake
mentioning that kitchen staff prepares memorable and mountainous meals using the best of local
produce, because such thing was in the Wildside Hall but not in our hotel.

So, under the circumstance I feel that at least an apology should be offered but the best option
will be to change an advertisement to more truthful. Unless I hear from you within ten days, I shall be
obliged to take matters a step further.
